from my icici account the bank is deducting more than 2000 rs from last five days and after calling customer care they are telling me that we do not know the reason for that

I am having AC[protected] in ICICI bank, bank has cut the balance of my account without any information(QABChgs). bank must return this amount, Bank should clear and whta circumtance the amount is detected.

    My a/c no. in this bank is[protected], without informing me ICICI Bank has switched my a/c from maintenance of quarterly average balance to monthly average balance and then they deducted Rs. 393 from my a/c at 12/09/12 of May's non maintenance of MAB.
    I am very upset of this thing.
    I called Customer Care Department and they told me we informed you but actually they didn't, I haven't got any call, any mail, not even in my bank a/c net banking mail id too.
    I want my money back and if its like that I don't want to continue any relationship with ICICI Bank.

      ICICI Bank - Credit Cards — continous harrassment from icici bank

      sir,

      i had 3 icici bank credit cards , which i used before 2 years (in 2008) and i paid back all the principle amount i used .meanwhile i received lot of calls from icici bank stating i had outstanding in my cards which is more than what i used. i explained them that i paid all the amount and ask for settlement letter, they even refuse to send a written confirmation about the discussion they had with me and intensively delayed the time and levied many charges (tax, late fee ,etc.) and ask me to pay that. now they came to my office and threaten me that they will come to my home and shout.

      pls. help me to get rid of this issue

        i have asked ICICI customer care executive to send monthly statement from August 2011 to August 2012. i am not receiving the statement properly.

        i have missed my icici credit card on 6th August 2012 and the same was informed to the icici customer care center and requested to block the credit card and also requested to issue the new card. Till now i haven't received neither new credit card nor monthly statement to pay my dues.
        I need clarity on the statement to settle the amount.Please do the needful.

          Hi ICICI Bank Care,

          I have been charged Rs. 28.09 on 11-Sep-2012 and the description of the transaction was ATMDEC CHG/09-08-12/3385/25ST3. It happened immediate after I withdrawn the money from Karur Vysya Bank ATM Velachery, Chennai, though I think, it is not related to that withdrawal.

          It is not authorized to charge me for any ATM Declined Charge, and I'm sure I didn't make any transaction on 09/08/2012 and if that is for 11-Sep transaction, it was not declined.

          I tried to call customer service and it busy at most of the time I called. I have tried to submit an e-mail request but ICICI page prompting me to try after 2 days. I have all the screen shots. I request you to credit my money back which deducted in above case.

            Dear Sir,

            I have purchased Deep Discount Bonds from ICICI Bank in the year May 1997 the amount got matured sometimes in 2003 as per ICICI Bank however; I have not received any refund from them for this, when I wrote a mail to them for a refund they informed me that the amount is transferred to IEPF & they can't do anything. Please help me in getting the refund from them.

            Please help me on the above matter ASAP.

                Priya - [protected] and ICICI customer from credit card... i don't know whether she has her own personal interest in doing so but she called and made the same statement (note that even i asked called her back twice for asking joining and annual fee of credit card) "the salary account people like CTS and Samsung employees they will not charge any annual and joining fee".

                I got a call from ICICI today about the charges and all. I called customer care they told me sorry and told its chargeable credit card.
                Call date is overwritten but i have her number.I tried calling her 100 times even then she is not picking up the call...

                I want that justice to be made and she must be sustained from the job from ICICI Bank fro some day for cheating and lying and making her own personal interest.
                Whole department should not suffer because of her and Customer should be known of all the charges applicable in advance and even on asking of customer they should provide correct information.

                  Updating international mobile number for OTP

                  I'm getting messages (SMS) from LM-ICICI like, my card has been loaded with so & so amount, I need to pay a due of so & so amount etc., when I do not have a card at all. I had this issue with my previous mobile number and surrendered the same. Now, I have the same issue with my new number as well. I never once visited any ICICI branch in my life and never ever dealt with the bank for anything.

                  I'm getting messages (SMS) from LM-ICICI like, my card xxxx9453 has been loaded with Rs. 6300, I need to pay a due of so & so amount etc., when I do not have a card at all.                   i got message form DZ-ICICI ****7481 at 12/01/2015 YOUR ACCONT HAS LOADED . but when iam tried to withdraw those amount ATM SHOWING YOUR TRANSATION is declined .now what can i do ? this is a direct card. i make acall to customer care shes says sorry for your un convenent our system s are going very slow we can respond this issue after 12am still checked my balance their is no change.

                    I have been a customer of ICICI Bank for the last 3 years and have been maintaining a good balance in my savings bank account. During the month of April, my account had 10 times more balance than required in my account. However, I see in my statement that the bank has charged me a minimum account balance charge of Rs. 350+taxes. I do not expect this from a bank of as good standing as ICICI. This is not the first time it's happening with me and I strongly encourage the bank to strengthen their controls in this aspect, in addition to refunding the charge back to my account.                     In addition to this, I also would like to share about how erroneously the bank's controls are working. I tried to place a request online about this transaction on September 8, 2012 and the webpage pops up a message requesting me to place the request after 2 days from the date of transaction. I really do understand how to calculate a period of two days. Either my basic math fails or ICICI's webpages are annoyingly smart. Kindly have a look at the snapshot attached herein.

                    ICICI Bank — Minimum charges

                    For not maintaining minmum balance of rupees 5000/-ICICI Bank charges about 3500/- PA how RBI alow this. In any saving bank how debit balance is alowed and i[censored] calulate the interest on 5000/- it will be about 65% how RBI allow the bank to cheat the customers

                    I have an Saving account with icici bank, i have requested a cheque book and got it ( 1 book per quater is free but i bought 1 book for the entire year). they had debited Rs 449 from that account as cheque book charges. is any one heared of cheque book charges this much any where in india ?. It is not safe to keep money in icici bank.
                    I am 83 years old senior citizen .I had over Rs.65 lacs in FDs with ICICI Bank . One person called Ravi from the Bank's Kalkaji N.Delhi branch visited me in July 08 on his own and collected all my FDRs on the assurance that he would get them pre-renewed to give higher interest rate . Instead he prepaid all of them and the amount is lying in my SB account at 3.5% instead of over 10% which I was already getting subjecting me to forced loss of interest . Not only that I was charged penalty for prepayment and the interest was paid at a rate much below the contracted rate . My several visits to the Branch Head and his assurances to renew them with retrospective effect have yielded no result and I continue to loose interest .

                    I was surprised to note that MAB charges of Rs.393.36 is debited today for MABChg-Jun12. For the past 11 years, I am having this SB account with good transactions for home loan, rent receipts, FD & bill payments.

                    In the past, I was always maintaining more than the minimum balance. In future I will maintain the required balance. As this is the first case and I am privileged customer, request you to refund to the amount Rs.393.36. If not refunded, I will be closing the account in the next week. Hope to get positive response from you.

And this is my salary account. According to norms this is a zero balance account. How these guys are deducted in my account.

                    I am frustrated very much due to irrelevant charges. Please don't repeat this.

                    I am also facing the same problem. At the time of opening account they said if you make the recurring deposit account then no minimum balance is required in the parent account. Still they have deducted the money. Which is very frustrating and embarrassing. Below are the deduction amount.

                    Not sure .. are they aware of the how much effort we are putting to get a least money to survery in the world.

                    Without even notice that too i opened for PPF account which they offered me with the zero balance account but now shock to see around 1k getting detected for the last 4 month aprart from this there is an service tax also for this.

                    Seriously i frustrated with the way this matured bank is behaving.

                    Please be understand our effort to make a 100 rupees in a day is hard for us. you are really cheting us a lot and very much painfull too.

                    My name is vel kumar and I am having saving bank account no[protected]. with ICICI Bank Cox Town Branch Bangalore. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without any communication in this regard. The Bank is charging exorbitant charges and that too on monthly instead of quarterly basis done so far. I have never been informed of such policy changes.                     My Account was in active for the past 1 year 6 months, and my debit card was also blocked, according the RBI rules Described " First Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2014-15 By Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor - (30. Consumer protection is an integral aspect of financial inclusion. The Reserve Bank proposes to frame comprehensive consumer protection regulations based on domestic experience and global best practices. In the interest of their consumers, banks should consider allowing their borrowers the possibility of prepaying floating rate term loans without any penalty. Banks should also not take undue advantage of customer difficulty or inattention. Instead of levying penal charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance in ordinary savings bank accounts, banks should limit services available on such accounts to those available to Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts and restore the services when the balances improve to the minimum required level. Banks should not levy penal charges for non-maintenance of minimum balances in any inoperative account. Banks should also limit the liability of customers in electronic banking transactions in cases where banks are not able to prove customer negligence) I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI. I have submitted copy of the above mentioned document to the branch Deputy Manager and manager Mrs. Permilla Reddy(cox town Branch bangalore ) 10-09.2014. They are not accepting any written letter.

                    Even I have similar kind of complaint. Recently, I noticed that without any notice ICICI bank had deducted some amount from my account saying it as MAB charges and SMS charges.

                    Transaction details are as follows:

                    While opening the account I have been told by the ICICI bank employee that there is no minimum amount boundation.

                    Could anyone let us know how Minimum Account Balances are being charged by ICICI bank, assuming there is NIL balances (supposed to be Rs.10, 000 as it is metro city). Many times I sent mail to their customer care but instead of how they calculate, they keep saying MAB charges. I was charged as follows:

                      This is Antony Michaelraj from Chennai.
                      I recieved a credit card from ICICI in 2007. I did not even open the pack as I have already been using HDFC Credit card. Then I got a call from ICICI lombord insurance promising me an insurance policy. I said ok through phone told the credit card number after opening the pack.
                      They had debited the amount and started sending statement for EMIs through credit card. But I did not get any insurance policy till today. I sent email to ICICI lombord and they replied they will cancel the policy. Nothing happened but credit card statements were coming in. Since I had not used that card for any other purchase, I did not pay. Then I started receiving calls from credit card division.
                      I told them to prove if I had bought/got any product for the amount. But every time some one who seems to be not belonging to the bank calls me and threatening me though I keep on telling the same thing.
                      I sent letters and emails to lombord but all in vain.
                      I request you to releive me from long persisting harassment..

                        ICICI Bank — Improper Customer Care

                        have applied for balance transfer in my ICICI credit card. I was informed that I will get the DD in 5 days. But I did not receive even after ten days.

                        When I called the customer service, they are not responding in a right way and also not allowing me to contact the next level officers. I am totally frustrated.


                        The data base wihich they are mainintaining is totally incorrect. But they are not ready to accept and providing the same incorrect contact numbers for the couriers.


                        We have three couriers named Expree, Express delivries & Express IT. But they are striclty saying that all the three are same and giving the same numbers..


                        This is creating total irritatio to the customers. I have wasted more tha 100 mins in this tracking issues. But no solution provided.

                        At last I decided to cancel the Balance transfer. That customer care people are not ready to take the cancellation request too.

                        This refers to my discussion with ICICI Executive, Mr.Piyush today on the 23rd of March 2009.
                        My Credit Card No.is [protected] Issue Dt.01/07 & Exp.Dt.01/11.
                        In context to my earlier payment of Rs.3, 668.34/-, the cheque No.198128 Dt.06.12.08 was deposited in Thane-East ATM Branch on the 4th of December 2008. The said was lost in transit and a person from Collection dept has visit my home to collect the cheque of Rs.5, 778/- (Excl Late Payment Fees)on the 29th of December 2008.

                        A request was made to the ICICI Credit Card Executive for waiver off Late Payment fees, but however the havn't reversed the minimum amout due, which is Mandatory to be paid, as told by Mr.Piyush.

                        Since this is not my fault that the cheque got lost in transit, then why should I pay the Minimum amount.

                        However, I had made a transaction of Rs.200/- in the month of February 2009 and now ICICI Bank is asking for the minimum amt due plus Interest charges.

                        This means, for making a transaction of Rs.200/-, now I have to pay Rs.800/-, this is nothing but trying fool the customers.

                        Request you to kindly look into the matter and please HELP me.

                          If you planning to invest in FD through net banking , be aware of the current non transparent process being followed by ICICI. At the time of request creation you will be asked to fill information like amount , period of deposit , contact details etc. At the end of it you will be forced to enter the transaction password. BUT IN THE PROCESS OF THIS TRANSACTION SYSTEM WILL SHOW AND NOT COMMIT ON ANY INTEREST RATE WHICH YOU WILL GET. You will come to know about this only after a week and if there is any disagreement on interest rate , bank will not do nothing without deducting 1 % from your deposit.
                          Be careful and do transactions only after visiting branches or do it in any other bank which operates in more transparent manner.

                                ICICI Bank — Unauthorised use of credit card

                                I am holder of ICICI Bank credit card, on 18/04/2009 and 20/04/2009 my card had been debited with 25739.28 which are not done by me.
                                I have lodged a complain with the company vide SR[protected] but no action has been taken till date and they had also charged late payment fees for the above amount.

                                It seems like some one hacked your credit card
                                information either through your recent online transaction or through
                                your recent POS transaction.

                                1. File a dispute with your bank as soon as possible.
                                2. Disable this card permanently and forget about this card and
                                destroy card properly as deactivated card also my be misused.
                                3. File Police complaint also.

                                Do's and Don'ts
                                1. In future do not use your credit/debit card or netbanking in public
                                places like cyber cafe, offices, clubs etc.
                                2. Always use Personal Computer.
                                3. Always use Mozilla Firefox in "Private Browsing Mode".
                                4. Use Keyscrambler Software.
                                5. Always use Upto date windows and Internet Security.

                                It seems like some one recharged his/her mobile phones, so if you make
                                Police Complaints they may catch suspect immediately. Take action now
                                as they may stop using that phones as its balances finished.
