I, Piyali Das, am a customer of ICICI bank having my salary account with them. My registered phone number with bank is [protected]. I also hold a credit card of ICICI. Though I didn't opt for the service named card protection plan for credit card, I was getting credit card bills continuously over mail. Those were system generated mails, so even if I tried to respond there were no pointers where I could raise the issue. This was going on repeatedly and finally they have blocked Rs. 6945 on 18-Nov-2015 from my salary account.
I have contacted their customer care number 33667777 and they simply denied saying 'you have to pay the money'.
I talked to Infosys phase 1 branch manager and she redirected me to Anish Kumar of Infosys phase 2 branch, which is also my home branch. When I talked to Anish on 23-Nov-2015 he asked me to contact Dashmeet Kawatra of credit card department to get the issue resolved. I dropped a mail to Dashmeet on 24-Nov-2015 regarding same but he did not respond. I waited for his response till 28-Nov-2015 and finally called him today on 30-Nov-2015 to raise the issue. He denied to help me and asked me to contact customer care again.
I believe this is an unnecessary harassment. I want them to remove the blocking of the amount 6945 from my account because I have not taken card protection plan. Kindly help. Was this information helpful? |
