Be vigilant about your ICICI bank account. It is noticed that ICICI deducts card protection plan rs 1899 without getting your consent. We called ICICI customer care and during this covid time they are asking us to visit the ICICI branch to resolve this issue. But my question to them was
1. We have never consented to any policy for any deduction why should we go to ICICI and resolve this. They are doing fraudulent activities so it is their responsibility to take corrective measure.
2. I asked them to send details in email on customer consent when we asked for such policy. We wanted all details in email as we can file a complain in RBI and it can be done only after 30 days.
Ultimately they say they will revert the money as I was asking for proof and wanted to file a complaint to RBI on this. Its very bad on part of ICICI. We are changing our salary account to HDFC now.
If anyone of you got such deduction, ask them to show proof and report to RBI. Was this information helpful? |
