ICICI Bank — money deducted from account but not credited to beneficiary account | |||
I made an online transaction for electricity bill payment via amazon on 14th january-2019. Amount was deducted from my account but order wasn't completed. Amount of 3480/- was deducted from my account on 14th january 2019. Upon asking from amazon, they declined to have received any payment from the bank. Icici bank is just saying the amount is deducted from their end. I checked multiple times with the amazon, they said they haven't received the money. Icici bank is just saying that the money is received by amazon. Where did the money go in that case? I have emailed several times and raised this issue many times (Issue req no. Sr[protected], sr[protected]. Also filed a grievance with the bank. Still no action was taken in this regard. Icici bank only has 1 line all the times i. E. "we inform you that your query related to transaction of rs. 3, 480.00 on acct xx4610 has been declined by the merchant". I seek the refund of my payment 3480/- with interest till today.
