ICICI Bank — Unauthorized debit of charges from my Bank

Hello Team,

As I have tried to reach out to the bank, multiple times and still there was no action taken regarding my concerns from last 1 year, so I have to officially file a case against the ICICI BANK.

I have been an A/C holder in ICICI BANK from JAN'2020 and my source account belongs to MYSORE BRANCH inside INFOSYS LIMITED which is my previous company. I have approved some ECS mandate and at a point due to financial crisis there was insufficient balance due to which there was a deduction of approximately 55, 000 to 75, 000 from my bank account as ECS mandate bounce charges.

However, they reversed some amount if approximately[protected] and still a major amount is with the bank. It's really not easy for a middle-class person to lose such a big amount to the bank, in case of financial crisis. The major amount of 30, 000 was deducted in AUG'2023 when an amount of 40, 500 was credited into my account on 11 Aug'2023 and it was reversed approximately 6k and again debited by the bank in the name of ECS mandate bounce charges. The money was deducted before 11th Aug 2023 also and after Aug'2023 also which totally resulted in an amount of approximately 55, 000 to 75, 0000

I have tried to bring this concern to my home branch I.e., KANPUR. However, no action was taken by them and after reaching out to the customer care also there was nothing done.

And after reaching the RM from last few months multiple times, no significant solution was provided and the advisory team asked me to travel to Mysore to get the money back, which was sorry to say an unfeasible solution.

I tried to loop up the RBI in the following concern and it's been a month still no response is there, and they are providing snapshots and information which are invalid by bluffing and making it against me that I am putting fake allegations on them. They have ended all the ECS charges as mentioned to me still after all this again 14k is again deducted from my A/C on 28th aug'24, even when the complaint is raised to RBI.

I am the sole earner of my family who is currently unemployed and working on freelance basis, the following money was for my medical issues and education loan, and they have been giving me multiple excuses and been wronged by the bank. I am totally devastated by the services of the BANK.

Given the inconvenience, dissatisfaction and mental trauma caused, I am requesting a full refund of the money deducted by bank with a compensation of Rs 6 Lacs for all the losses and issues i have to bear because of the bank. I have attached the mail and relevant documentation for your reference.

So, I would like you to address my issue and look for the reversal of money as it's really hard to continue my relationship with the bank now. All the major proofs are being addressed. Some snapshots of money deduction can be missing out. However, I have tried to attach the most.

Hoping for a quick and positive response. Please do the needful asap.
