I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the handling and rejection of my recent claim.
When I last contacted your team regarding the rejection, I was informed that the claim could be reconsidered if I provided a letterhead from the referring doctor mentioning the admission details. I made significant effort to obtain this document, even traveling to another city, and submitted it as requested.
However, to my surprise, the claim has once again been rejected — this time with the reasoning that the treatment was “under evaluation, ” which was never communicated earlier. This inconsistency in communication and handling of my case is extremely unacceptable.
Had your representative informed me earlier that the claim would not be considered for this reason, I would have avoided unnecessary travel, time, and mental stress. I have already provided all supporting documents, including post-hospitalization medicine bills and other relevant records.
This entire experience has been mentally exhausting and highly disappointing. I expected transparency and professionalism from ICICI Lombard, but the repeated misinformation and lack of clarity have caused significant distress.
I sincerely urge you to review my case once again and provide a proper explanation for this inconsistent and unfair handling. Based on this experience, I am also compelled to inform my company’s HR team about this matter and recommend reconsidering ICICI Lombard for future policy renewals.
