Icici Lombard — unilaterally discontinued the policy | |||
I had bought a medical insurance policy 4034/CHI/75353814/00/000 on 17th Nov' 06 @ a premium of Rs. 18k and I have maintained on time premium payment record since them. I was been informed by ICICI Lombard that they have unilaterally discontinued the policy from 1st Oct 2013 and they have proposed a new policy at the premium of Rs. 46, 640. I have till date paid more than Rs. one lakh. I wast to contest my case in the consumer court.. Was this information helpful? | |||

Hello exactly same is the case with me. I paid 13, 000/- premium for three years without availing any benefit and now Lomabrd has discontinued my policy and offered me 32, 000/- premium policy under the name of IRDA's new guidelines. I too want to knock the consumer forum's doors. my email ID is [protected]@gmail.com. We can do it jointly. Rather I would say we should bring all who are suffering this together and then go to consumer court.
