I have a policy with ICICI pru life which was not performing for me. So I decided to discontinue this policy. I had a chat with their customer care and told them that i don't want to discontinue this policy. Premium payment date was 8th february and now after ~2 months they debited my saving account on . This is a fraud.

        Cancellation of policy

        I have raised a cancellation request for my policy before the freelook period of ICICI terms and conditions (30 days). But however, its been already passed more than 60 days, and sending a continuous reminder for the second-month payment reminder. They are not canceling the policy as I have raised multiple requests and sent multiple emails and also lodged a complaint in the ICICI grievance cell. when purchasing a policy they used to respond...

        I am making repeated reques since Feb 4, 2020. My policy details No: 00071137This has vesting date 31 Jan 2021, I opted for life long pension for myself and my wife with nominee my daughter for return of purchase amount.Application is given at Anna Nagar branch on 4 Feb 2021 as requested by company. Suddenly I get credit of Rs.164864.29 credited to my Federal Bank account instead of full Pension.
        I understand some new policy Number 90927155 has been issued.
        I have not the document, have no idea of the Pension amount, Corpus, Interest applied for ###.
        No one replies to why 1/3 of corpus is returned back to me despite my request for full pension. I escalated to 2nd level

          This is to inform you I Mr. Raghavendra Shiva Gowda holding a ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd - ICICI Pru Super Protect - Credit - UIN - 105N176V01 and the Policy No. 48494689 Dtd 15/11/2019.

          The Icici Bank Executive at the time of taking the policy they have promised that this policy covering time will till the time your Home Loan Exist, But have called to the Customer care they have inform me that this policy is only for 10 Yrs.

          Please kindly look into this give me the resolution in the form of Full Cover or Refund of full Amount of Rs. 28, 408/- .

            I made a payment of 11, 622 on 27th Dec, 2020, towards my life insurance 22147003.
            The payment has not been applied and I am getting mails to pay 17k to renew policy.

            your customer care number does not work, it disconnects me after few entries on IVR.

                  All fraud notorious service oriented insurance company

                  Beware of the company when they give customer care number or Grievence office cell number or any other number.
                  AA)The customer care number when dialed will get you SMS link for quick service which will be good for nothing and handled by robot who will ask you stupoid questions like unit link value, policy number etc. Anyother query it will inform it cannot understand. BB) When you hold to talk to any human personnel, Nobody will attend....

                  I had taken a term insurance policy with ICICI prudential through Policy Bazaar last year and had paid the premium thru a Credit card. Afterward, I came to Canada with a PR visa and couldn't go back because of the Covid-19 scare. Without my authorization, the policy renewal premium was paid and I even received no notification of the transaction. It was brought to my attention after I saw my credit card statement for the month.
                  When I spoke to the customer service, the representative informed me that all credit card payments are put on auto-debit mode, which is bizarre as I wasn't informed or asked for authorization for the same. Further, they can't reverse it as the payment is made to the insurer company. The insurance company has the policy of no refunds post-payment, which is again fraudulent.

                    I took a policy 89132695 ONLINE at the companys portal on 2nd Jan 2021 and i am surprised to observe that the policy states annuity from 5th Feb 2021 while the actual date should have been 2nd of every month as per online payment acknowledged. It appears this company cheat customers by manipulating the date once the policy is taken. All insurers in the country commence on the date of payment effected or cheque in case of LIC. Pensioners taking policy here should note above anomaly and decide to go ahead since the company will not even your grievence on the subject. Complaint to IRDAI will not help since they are just post office and do not even read your complaint and interfere.

                      AA) My policy 89132965 taken online on 2nd Jan2021.The company has not send me the policy. With great efforts through[protected] Piyu madam i managed to get welcome kit in whats upp.That'sall.
                      BB) When u track your application at their portal, it will be shown Policy is active and you can download. Also You will get email that your policy is ready and you can download but when you click download you will never see any policy but message like that Policy will be available after 6 Hours.This is the status even today
                      and will remain like that forever since the Technical team in the company is managed by a bunch of illiterates.

                      CC) In view of no policy being sent by the company you will unable to cancel the Policy during the statutory cooling Period. This company does all this with ulterior motive so that once the payment is made it is safe and they can enjoy at clients expense without doing any service.

                      DD) When you try to create new user login at the Portal you will have still greater fun of the century to conclude the that the technical team in the company are a bunch of Jokers. You can enter mobile number or policy number or policy number when u try to use new user for login.
                      As soon as you do any of them You will get a message that date of birth is not found in your records. Thus you cannot use the Portal.

                      DD) When you take up the issue of login with lifeline, you will get a message that they tried to contact me and i did not attend the call. Instead of trying to resolve the issue of Login through technical team, they will do all stupid and nonsense service in the response and your issue will remain forever.

                      EE) If you write to grievance Officer you will never get any response. Possibly they appears to be illiterate to do anything or do not bother to do any service since their salary is well protected.

                      FF) When you Lodge a complaint to Govt Portal against Private insurers, the complaint invariably goes to IRDAI which is another orgnisation which will do nothing immediately. After 2 or 3 months if your are alive, you can read the message from IRDAI simply passing on the stupid response from the Insurer.They do not even read the complaint but act as only as a Post office.

                      Thus when you deal with this Company one needs to be extra careful since there is no service from this company particularly from the senior management. Only the Lowest sales desk do work with diligence. The Grievance cell is the worst and you will never find such cell anywhere in the world. This is their world class grievance cell keeping mum on all issues raised and enjoy at someone's expense.

                        AA)This company will ask to use whatsup at every login but when u login and raise any query, u will never get any response. Whatsupp number given is [protected].
                        BB) When u take a policy Online, (which I did on 2nd Jan 2021) you will get a message that your policy can be downloaded with a link. When u click that you will get a message that policy is not generated. Another funny unique experience for investors in this company.
                        Conclusion Never deal with this company online since u will be fooled after investment. While investing you will get customercare calls but after the money is paid you will never anyone to respond inclusing the grievence office in the company. Appears non deligent staff at all levels depending only Brand name established by someone in the past.

                          Hi,

                          I live in Navi Mumbai and I have been literally troubled by the ICICI Prudential company for the past 2 and a half years. ICICI sent a sales person to my office in 2018. He sold me a monthly payment "SIP" of 3500/- (every month). It was actually Life insurance. I was told nothing about it. I did not come to know that it was Life Insurance and SIP because if did not get any paperwork regarding the same. When I filed my IT return in 2019 is when I came to know that it was not SIP. I already have a LIC policy so I would have never ever bought it.

                          I called many people from ICICI Pru to cancel the policy and was told they cant or if they do, I will not get a single rupee back. I paid the premium till Jan 2020 when I lost my job. For the last one year, people from ICICI Pru call me day and night and ask me to pay the premium. I have told them my situation but they dont listen. They have also called me at 10:30pm at night. I am tired of them.

                          There is no one who can help me with getting my money back. And I still cant pay the Premium. How do I solve this issue? Please help someone.

                          I am very close to filling a police complaint against this harresment on the phone. I have told them not to call I have blocked over 100 numbers but they still call. I NEED HELP URGENTLY IN STOPING THIS AND GETTING MY PREMIUM PAID BACK.

                          I am planning to go to the media about this since I know a few people who have faced similar issues. If this is not resolved I will go to the media with details.
                          Same experience despite being a long term NRE client of ICICI. Their staff must have been trained to mis-lead customers. I was guided to cancel my existing ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund / NRE FD investment to purchase a life insurance policy which turned out to be more of a benefit to the ICICI staff promoting products to earn commissions and dis-regarding implications for the customer.
