I took the home loan insurance from ICICI Prudential on 19/08/2021 and requested for surrender/refund on 03/02/2022 as part of loan takeover. (That means the policy was used only for 5 months and 16 days.) I submitted all the policy surrender documents on 4/02/2022. I did multiple follow up afterwards via emails to [protected]@iciciprulife.com & to [protected]@iciciprulife.com. each time they replied back that it is in process. In the Prudential website it is clearly stated as 10 working days for surrender refund. It has been a month and when I escalated it today [protected]@iciciprulife.com asked me to resubmit the surrender documents. When I spoke to the Prudential customer care they are blaming between lifeline team and affinity team to escape from the payout. Please help me get my payout and the refund calculation details. This incident have caused my health as well as my work hours severely.
