ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — surrender of the ulip policy | |||
I took icici prudential ulip plan in october 2014. I paid for 3 years and then i couldn't pay for it. The policy is under discontinued status. I wanted to withdraw funds as i needed money very urgently. They denied saying that there is a lock-in period. As per irda guidelines, i can withdraw the policy even if there is a lock-in period, however, i have pay surrender charges. I went to the branch, they asked me to send the email to [protected]@iciciprulife.com and they denied on that email. I even called them today. They are still telling me that i can only withdraw it after 5 years. Icici pru policy number 18944444. I sent the email on thu, mar 14, 6:08 pm I need urgent help on this. My existing policy’s number of premium was wrongly increased by the company from (5 originally) to 7 .My policys Numbers are 18992189 & 19154745 .Have already mailed to the advisor but responce is poor from theat end.have tried to call the senior Mr Dubey but the seems too busy .
