[Resolved] Idea Cellular — barring of the services | |||
I have moved to usa in june and i have converted my number from postpaid to prepaid between 20th to 23rd june. I've done all necessary recharges for my international roaming. As per usage policy communicated by idea helpdesk official i have to use my phone at least once in 90 days which i was trying to do in last month and i found that my number is temporary barred. I had raised concern multiple times through email support and to my surprise they had lot of different reasons each time like my postpaid balance is not cleared, you are not meeting usage policy etc. As per them the number got barred on 30th june 2017 which is just 8-9 days after activation. Always i am getting a reply with one of the reasons above and talk to customer service by dialing numbers which can not be done unless my number is active. I tried sending multiple emails and call to [protected] using my us number in last 10-15 days but nothing worked. The call either gets disconnected or land in postpaid department. I am facing lot of issues for my banking transactions and income tax filing as i can not use otp. Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Sep 30, 2017 Idea Cellular Customer Care's response Dear Customer, Sorry for trouble caused to you. As checked your number is barred due to the high usuage of your number.
