Idp Ielts — Missed test due to IDP's missed and misleading communication.

Hi,

I booked a pen and paper test with ielts for 20th August, 2022 which i later modified to a computer based test to be taken on 27th August, 2022. While i was booking pen and paper i saw that the date for speaking will be shared 2 days prior to the test date and also the venue details will be shared 2 days prior to the test that falls first. I did not get any SMS communication till 25th night which was clearly 2 days prior to my scheduled reading, writing and listening scheduled date(27th). I was worried and i logged into ielts to check the venue details and that's when i noticed that the speaking module had been scheduled for 24th and that i had missed it because of no SMS communication from ielts. I would like to point out that i got my initial communication for 20th August test scheduled via SMS. Because of poor communication from ielts(IDP india), i had missed my speaking module. I had dropped an email to their customer care the very next minute i realised that and also reached out to their customer care. The first person who answered my phone was very rude to me and disconnected without clarifying my questions. I called again immediately and this time i was told that since i missed my speaking module, i will not be allowed to take the remaining module and that i had to pay 25% of the total cost again to get the entire test transferred to a different date. I called the customer care again on the day of my test to reconfirm this and i was told the exact same information by the representative who attended my call this time. Based on information provided by IDP india customer care, i did not take the rest of the modules. I have been following up with the team over email and it is very irritating. They finally responded to my very first email asking for money to be paid for transfer and medical certificate to be share along with fee payment receipt. I have emailed them multiple times with the doubt that i don't have a medical reason to submit medical certificate and i haven't recieved any information back from them yet. This whole scenario has had some major impact on my health and my sleep. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything else. I felt that IDP india has harassed me on a mental level and i am reaching out to get this settled.
