We had booked an IFB front load washing machine for 21k. The new machine was installed and within a week started giving problem. The washing cycle did not end even after 2 hours and when we asked for the service personnel to check he said that the problem is with the mother board and needs to be replaced. We raised an exchange request and it was approved by customer care center through a message. Then even after one month, nobody turned up, no exchange, no call. Again when we called customer care for asking the status for exchange they said that the area manager will contact us. Since we did not receive any calls from area manager we contacted the service personnel who came for installation, he asked us to call area manager. The area manager asked which person assured an exchange and who approved it. He said that in no case the machine will be exchanged and they will only repair the mother board. Which is definitely not acceptable to us, since we have hardly used it and it's not worn out that we can replace the part. It's brand new. We want an exchange for this defective product. Kindly resolve this issue.
