Indian Bank — intentional late intimation of dishonoured cheque | |
From: r sampath e mail id: [protected]@gmail.com ph [protected] Pay order no: 248336 issued by uco bank for rs 4, 46, 955 was deposited in indian bank a/c no[protected] on 23 jul 17. My name in bank record is r sampath. The payee’s name was written as ram swami sampath in the pay order (Full name with expansion of initials.) and the cheque was rejected in clearing - reason: “name differs” No phone call /sms or letter was given by the bank. My phone mumber is on their records for the last 10 years. I visited the bank on 17 november 2017 and only when enquired i was given back the cheque after a lapse of 4 months resulting in loss of interest to me..
