Indian Oil Corporation [IOC] — Cheating by petrol pump

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Today i.e 24/05/2021 at around 5.00 PM i went to fill up petrol in my scooter at your petrol pump which is at SV Road, Vijaykar wadi, Malad (West), Mumbai 400064.

While my chance to fill the petrol came up, your employee who fills the petrol asked me to move my scooty a bit forward, and started filling the petrol, which i realized that it was his cheap tactic to distract me so as to start the meter from around Rs. 190 rather than Rs 0. He filled my tank until it was around Rs.300. Which means only Rs. 100 worth of petrol was filled in the tank, and i paid Rs 200 extra. I fought This is the 3rd incident i've been cheated here.

During the 2nd incident the actual amount to be paid for the petrol was Rs 187, i gave the card for payment, being in a hurry did not check the bill, later when i reached home, i saw that i was charged Rs 287.

During the 1st incident, i wanted to pay by card, wen i gave my card for the 1st time, your employee said my card declined and swiped again for the 2nd time. Later when i arrived home i realized i was charged the same amount twice.

Those 3 incidents happened at the same petrol pump. I've mentioned the address above.

Such cheap and dishonest tactics of looting customers is highly unethical and does not conform to a big brand like yours.

I am extremely disappointed that even during the times of covid when people are jobless, relatives and friends and succumbing to death, there are such vultures in the society to suck the blood of people who are already distressed and broken.

You should also read this petrol pump's google reviews, sadly people lack awareness about where to complain so Google is one such resort where people share such incidences.

Kindly make thorough enquiry about such cheap malpractices and take strictest actions against those running this petrol pump.
