Indian Oil Corporation [IOC] — diesel filled in activa 3g instead of petrol

The guy at indian oil petrol pump, filled diesel in my activa 3g instead of petrol. On realizing the mistake, he asked me to stay for 2 minutes and informed the mistake to his owner, in their regional language. Due to language barrier, i could not understand the conversation. Later the owner asked me to leave saying there was no problem. Consequence was such that activa stopped in the middle of the way and i had to pull it for over 3kms to get it repaired. The mechanic then informed me that the vehicle is fine but the problem is the diesel that has been filled up in the tank instead of petrol.
