On 26th July 2024 at Indian Oil Sarita Vihar outlet I requested fuel refilling of Rs. 551.27 and an invoice was generated with invoive no. [protected] with FCC ID 4684600. The invoice slip displays that Rs. 5.82 litres has been added to my vehicle but the pump staff siphoned the entire fuel in a separate container instead of putting it in my vehicle, also the vehicle did not register any addition in fuel in terms of range or digital fuel meter reading . They also refused to address my complaint despite me showing that there is no change in the fuel levels of the car. I drove the vehicle for a few kilometers and it confirmed that the no fuel was added to my vehicle by the pump staff. I also got fuel filled from an Hindustan Petroleum outlet to double check my digital meter was functioning and the digital meter could detect the same quantity of fuel added from a different outlet.
I tried raising a complaint with the company website but their grievance portal has bugs and errors, therefore I could not find a viable means to raise the complaint with Indian Oil Corporation.
I would request the strictest action to be taken against the fuel dealer and the wrongfully charged amount to be refunded.
