On nov.23rd, 2019, we booked a domestic cylinder through the ivrsystem using phone number [protected] and got an instant reply via sms confirming the booking with the following details : cons no. And booking ref. No. The sms also said the expected delivery time is two days.
On nov 25th, there was an sms saying invoice no.... Rs.680 generated, cylinder under delivery and it also showed a four digit code to be shared with the delivery men on receipt of the refill.
On nov 27th, the next sms was received saying your invoice no...…….. Has been cancelled due to created by error. An hour and a half later after receiving this message, we booked again using the same ivrs method and got an instant sms response saying, your booking could not be created due to refill order can not be created as open order already exists for the consumer.
We checked with the distributor namely kfcsc, ssa road, hebbal, bengaluru. They checked their records and the next day informed that our consumer number has been transferred to rt nagar (About which we did not receive any information).
On the 28th, an sms was received saying, invoice no. …….. Rs.680 generated, cylinder under delivery, please share dac …….. With the delivery men on receipt of refill. (This time it was a different invoice no* and a different dac no)
On 30th, the final sms came with the message that the cylinder is delivered with latest invoice number that was received the second time*. (Attaching sms screenshots)
At the end of the whole episode the product has not arrived yet and the family has been going through a tough time without cooking gas more 10 days now. Kindly check if there was an error and if so what and where the error lies. If this kind of an experience occurs, how can we rely on ivrs booking in future?
