Indian Overseas Bank — Asking to pay 100 rupees for kyc updation in their system the staff speaking rude | |||
Dear sir, An incident to be informed for rectification I have been visited this after noon indian overseas bank at porto-novo branch (Parangipettai) which is located in cuddalore district where i am having nre savings account, following periodic rbi announcement to update customer information to their account details Regarding that several times i visited to the branch i did get right forms and information finally i met the branch manager he accepted what i have already filled a form who reviewed necessary attachment and signed after that he said leave it to a men staff who says which can be done 10am to 12pm only, i told him you update as you like but just receive application from my hand then he started to write a challan rs 100/= for kyc updating As a customer why should i have to pay for; the kyc full form is know your customer the bank required details from customer only that's all The account was as primarily operated long back but now rarely operating since no good service prompt, alternately i have opened and operating nre accounts with icici and kvb banks (I am having deposits, housing loan etc..)
