In our country, railway service is in very bad condition. Railway service don't know the "meaning of time" means when the trains desire it starts and when it desires then it arrives. If we travel from train then we should forget that when we will reach because its totally depend on train that how much time it will take?
By the way last time i booked tickets in "saheed express" and tickets was confirm in r. A. C. On journey day, when i checked then showing that tickets had cancelled. I worried that now what will happen? Then i went gurugram railway station and told everything to ticket master but no one believe on my words and everyone replied me negative answer. Then i taken general ticket. We were four friends in which one had a confirm ticket. Our train is on 8:30 pm but as usual it was too late and comes on 1:00 am after these and we go inside the train.
In train, where we sit, no space for standing and luggage also... We were facing so many problems. After 1 hour t. T. E come to us and say that show your ticket then we tell everything to him and give him r. S. 1200 & request for confirm ticket. Then in morning 6:00 am he provided to us confirmed birth.
Arrival time is approx 11pm but it arrives 8:00am means 9hours late. Totally 14 hours late.
We book ticket before 4 months because on journey time no any problems have created and money saving also but all are stupid things. After 4 months, your ticket may be cancel then you have only two options: one is tatkal ticket and another is general ticket. Price of tatkal ticket is double because who cut the ticket that person also take approx r. S.500 as commission. All faults is yours. You have to do everything and also think that how manage this situation. No any responsibilities of indian railway for this.
Now what is the mean of book ticket before 3-4 months.
Why this type of railway service in our country. Why government do nothing regarding this situation. No any rule for indian railway service.
I know that problems come but atleast provide solution to traveller who are facing so many problems like ticket cancellation. For these, who is responsible? Is it true "indian railway never improve".
I request only that please improve time management and in case of "train cancel" provide us other train.

    I have booked a ticket for the kochuvely express on[protected] from kottayam to palakkad. The train was cancelled on the same day by itself. And rescheduled to[protected]. But we don't want to travell that day. Then i went to the railway station and asked how can i get my refund they told me that they are not resposible for the irctc mistake and there is no connection between irctc and the railway. So i file a tdr in my irctc account. But they replied by a msg that cr repudiate. I didnt understant the meaning as a normal passenger. I again mailed to irctc care to inform the situation but they didnt take any action. As a normal pasenger i only know that i bokked a train that was cancelled by itself not my mistake thats why i asking my refund and it is theresponsibility of irctc. So kindly take necessary action to refund my payment.

      Hi team,
      I have booked tatkal ticket on thursday 24th aug 2017.
      The ticket is not confirmed and amount 426.8 rupees has been deducted from my hdfc account.
      I didn't receive my amount back to my account and status of the transaction [protected] is like payment settled in irctc website.
      Please help to refund the amount as soon as possible

        I have cancelled a ticket with pnr number as [protected].

        During cancellation it was shown that the refund amount is rs. 6325.00

        However i have received a refund amount of rs. 5000.00 only on 14.08.2017.

        The screenshots of both the cancelled ticket (Indicating the refund amount in it) as well as my account statement (Indicating the actual refund amount i got into my account) are attached herewith for your ready reference.

        You are requested to look into the matter and arrange for refund of balance amount of rs. 1325 against the cancelled ticket for the pnr number mentioned above

          Dear irctc team,
          I gurleen kaur had booked the train no. 12005 from new delhi to chandigarh for 24th august timing 17:15 (Shatabdi), but due to some intense enviornment out there and because of the train cancelled or not going on the specified destination due to impose of section 144. So being a regular customer i request you to kindly refund the money as this was the genuine reason

            Since all the trains from punjab got cancelled, we had no choice to reach new delhi to catch my flight from new delhi to trivandrum on 27-august-2017. Since railway cancelled all the trains we were not able to reach delhi. So we had cancelled the flight ticket which ends up with a huge lose for us. Whom will be answerable now?
            Irctc or indigo airlines or go ibibo or indian government?

            SBI is the India's No.1 Bank and do IRCTC doesnot accept SBI debit card for payment

              Sir,

              On sunday morning of[protected] i logged onto irctc site to book 3 tickets for travel by jan shatabdi train the next day. For payment i used my sbi buddy wallet whereby an amount of rs 401.80/- (Tid [protected]) was debited to the wallet but i was not allowed to proceed further and thus tickets could not be booked. The amount so debited has also not been refunded.

              Kindly arrange for refund of the debited amount at the earliest.

                sbi (debit card with pin) not available at payment option.

                At the time of booking ticket at payment option state bank of india (Debit card with pin) does not show. Even after bank preference through profile did not show. Please advise me to rectify it. It is due to some technical error or my mistake in writing or sbi debit card with pin has been withdrawn by irctc. Sbi is the biggest bank & hence please add it immediatly.

                  While booking ticket of train no.22124, ajni to pune on17th august 2017, my transaction was failed. However a sum of rs 2048/ — was debited from my bank account. Against transaction id [protected]. My date of journey of10/10/2017 for two passengers of acii. As per rule letdown in your website, " failed transaction amount should be credited in consumer account automatically within three working days. However, the amount of rs 2048/= has not been credited in my account. Please do the needful immediately.

                    I tried to book in tatkal from mas to kjm and it was very slow in payment gateway. It came as tatkal wl 56, 57. This will not confirm. Why r u giving waitlist ticket if it crosses more than 10. I[censored] r providing that why r u taking cancellation charge for rs. 60. Date of journey is 27-08-17. Kindly change this rule and do not book if it is waitlisted in tatkal booking.

                      I have booked the train for bike transfer from banners to howrah on 15th august. But still i didn't get my bike as well as not knowing the status of my bike. Today is 25th august but not knowing the status of my bike.

                        On 22 aug i have booked two tickets form erankulam to rayagada but due to some reason i have to cancel one of them. I have booked the tickets using my sbi debit card via paytm gate way as the net banking option in irctc was not working that day.

                        Now i see that in my refund status it is showing the amount of 2295 has been transferred to paytmag, but where is such amount being transfered and how god knows but that nedded to be credited to my sbi savings account as the amount was deducted form my sbi savings account and not from paytm.

                        Now dont know how to get the amount 2295.

                        It would be great full if some one suggets.

                        The desired amount has been transferred to the bank account thanks to IRCTC . The amount of 2295 has been credited back.

                        The cancelled amount that was to be transferred was 2295 to my sbi account instead it is showing transferred to PAYTMAG where also the same amount has not been transferred. Though in the IRCTC website it is showing that the cancelled amount has been transferred. I am in utmost need of the money as that is the situation I am in nowadays.

                        Would be very grateful if the cancelled amount is forwarded to my SBI savings bank account from where the money was originally deducted.

                                I can't understand why you deduct charges while refunding waiting list tickets after chart preparation. The person is already suffered due to not beinh provided of a confirmed ticket by you and even you deduct charges.
                                You have already got full fare amount from those having confirmed tickets but again you need extra. And writing below every ticket "43% of your fare is borne by common citizens of india". Kindly let me know whether citizens like me are not indian citizen as per you or is it like you are not using the money from the income tax which i pay. Or you are using black money of some who you consider the citizens of india.
                                I hope what i told will bring some changes in the system as i believe the time i gave here... Is borne by common citizen of india.

                                    We recently went to katra in sleeper jammu mail. Horrible train. Food hygiene seats everything was horrible. We stayed in irctc rest rooms upper class n lunch at irctc restra. The food there in katra irctc restra was horrible and rotten. The washrooms in waiting rooms were smelly and not clean. They overcharged us for staying in waiting room. The seats in jammu mail sleeper were dirty n very small. Everything was downgrade and dirty on jammu mail. Worst train ever seen. Please see to the problem.. People, s health is at stake. Also the blankets and sheets on uttar kranti ac coach were dirty and smelly.

                                      I booked one TATKAL ticket from Gulbarga to Bengluru Cant (Train no 11301) on 18/8/2017 On the INTERNET but the transaction failed due to system fault at the IRCTC website. The amount of money Rs. 425/- was being debited from my IOB account. The failed transaction ID is -[protected]..
