Train: Bhubaneswar Prasanthi Express - 18463
Date of Journey - 26/05/2017

I had a RAC ticket from BBS to SBC.

1) Instead of 2 people per seat, the TT made 4 people to sit in each seat. Among whom 2 were ticketless/waitlisted travellers. On complaining about the matter, the TT said that there are no seats available so we have to adjust.

2)After that some people got down and the seats were available but still then instead of allocating the unoccupied vacant seats to the RAC people. They allocated the seats to the ticketless/waitlisted travellers who paid them extra.
Upon being asked about that, they said they will give seats only at night and left.

This kind of behaviour is not at all acceptable.

    I have booked e-ticket on irct website with pnr:[protected]. Transaction id: [protected].
    I have cancelled the unconfirmed tatkal ticket on 15.5.17 and it is shown as rs.3920 refund amount sent to bank. As the amount not credited to my account, i contacted irctc c. Care where they say that there is a problem with banks gateway. When i cintacted the bank, they are asking ro furnish utr, which could not be given by irctc.

    Hi. I have cancelled unconfirmed tatkal ticket on 15.5.17 with PNR.[protected]. An amount of Rs.3920 was shown as refund and status:Sent to Bank. Till date i have not got the refund credited to my account. A new ticket is being allotted to my mail reminder without disposing precious tickets. So far 47 tickets are generated for this refund. On enquiry with IRCTC customer care i was told that there is a problem with banks gateway. Hownlong IRCTC take to get my credit.

    We regret for the inconvenience caused to you. We have already given credit instructions to the payment gateway. Due to some technical problem in payment gateway, there is a delay in the refunding process. We assure you that the steps have already been taken for earlier refund and you may get the refund shortly. Please co-operate with us.

      Hello sir maine kanpur se patna k liye 4 tickets book ki thi train late hone k wajah s tickets cancle kiya tha aur tdr file kiya tha right time pr.. Paytm k through pay kiya tha... Complaint krne par unhone 90 days wait krne ko bola..90 days complete ho gaye.. Pr abhi tak refund amount nh aaya.. Maine irctc customer care ko phone b kiya par koi positive response nahi aaya.. So plz help me check all details and refund money soon

        I also have the same problem, am trying to book tatkal tickets from my personal irctc id, but error is coming which says "you are permitted only 2 transactions between 8 am to 10 am per ip address".

        You are permitted:
        1) only 2 tickets between 08:00 hrs to 10:00 hrs per user id.
        2) only 2 tatkal tickets between 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs per ip address.
        3) only 2 tickets between 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs per user id.

        I have not booked single ticket between 8 to 10 even within this week.

          Dear IRCTC,

          For the past 5 days I am trying to book tatkal ticket online and I am
          getting the same error "This site is currently unreachable. Please try
          after some time", even though I sharply login into the site at 11:00.

          On first day I thought it might be some server issue which your
          technical team will resolve in an hour or so (being crucial issue). But
          for the continuous 5 days I am getting the same error.

          I did my research about the same on Internet and found many articles
          saying "Fraud of IRCTC", "Bribe IRCTC Officers making way for Agents,
          who were not much into business because of lite version, using which a
          bonafide consumer was able to book their urgent tickets" etc etc.

          I demand a clear JUSTIFICATION on this issue. WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS
          ISSUE AND WHY THIS HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED ?

          WHO ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?

          AND WHY I SHOULD NOT FILE A PROBE AGAINST IT?

            I was booking tatkal train ticket from daund n (Dd) to ambala cantt (Umb) on 28 april 2017 for making journey on 29 april 17.. The reservation was failed but the ra.835 was deducted from icici debit card... I have been waited 10 working days but the amount hadn't refunded.. I also submitted online complaint to the costumer care of irctc... But they haven't responded properly..

                I, Keerthana B, had booked two tatkal tickets from CSTM to LPI from IRCTC mobile app via KVB debit card. The amount worth Rs.1020.70/- was debited with the reference no.[protected]. The particulars given in the passbook says POS/E-POS/[protected]/IRCTC/DELHI. A pop up notification came up on the mobile that the payment was rejected and thus, the ticket was not booked. I had to make a repayment with the Canara bank debit card to book the ticket. this had happened on 10th may, 2017 and there was no reply for the message or call. Kindly look at the issue and please refund the amount.
                Hereby, I have attached the passbook entry and the message of amount debited from KVB and the image of the ticket and the screenshot of amount debited from Canara bank for the same ticket. Please do consider this request.

                A mail was relieved from IRCTC, asking me to submit the bank statement if at all the money was credited to IRCTC. As I had the bank statement, I had submitted the copy of it with the message that I had received from the bank. The amount was credited after verification to the same account after 5 days.

                  While travelling in 12904(Golden Temple Express),
                  Date -23rd May, 2017 ASR to BVI

                  all meals were charged more than the rate list mentioned in IRCTC menu card in their website.
                  Breakfast( just bread and omlete) was charged rs.50 and veg thali was charged rs.120. while rate list shows the price is rs 25 and rs 55 respectively.
                  Icecream cup were sold at rs 25 while actual price is rs 10.
                  Inspite of repeated reminder, the catering employee did not produce a bill and spoke very rudely.

                    Respected sir/madam,

                    I request you to kindly look into the matter as my mother and I had to travel from secunderabad to vadodara due to exigency of my grandmother's health.

                    I bought the tatkal ticket over the counter after waiting for 2hrs in queue in the morning and got the tatkal ticket with waiting list, hoping to get confirmed.

                    Next day we reached platform and to our surprise the ticket was not confirmed and I stood in queue to get it cancelled.
                    But till my turn came the person at the counter told I can't get refund.

                    It's merely day robbery under the name of rules. First of all we were not alloted seats above it tatkal waiting seat nor got cancelled automatically neither refunded.
                    It's matter of Rs.6015/- not Rs.50 or 100/-.

                    I don't understand IRCTC was not at a loss of 2 seats as it was not even a confirmed then why can't they return our hard earned money.
                    Instead I would have donated that money to an orphanage who are more needy than IRCTC.

                    I request to seriously look into the matter so that it wont happen again with others or the general public will totally not believe or trust IRCTC in future.

                      Dear Sir

                      I have booked PNR- [protected] on 25th May in Tatkal Quota.

                      At the time of booking, status of ticket was available. During the completion of the transaction the status changed to waiting list and final number alloted was TQWL 67.
                      On cancellation, Railway has deducted Rs 60/- as cancellation charge.

                      How is this charge justified? Either the ticket should not have been booked in the first place or a warning should be given before the transaction take place.

                      We request you to take this as a technical fault in the process which is amounting to unnecessary loss of money to constumers and un-justified income to railways (in Lacs maybe)

I want to use irctc for booking ticket because my number is already registered and i am not able to create new account with the help of same email id and mobile number.                               I was tried to book ticket on 24-05-17 in userid: arjun4454i for train no:12722 (Journey date:26-5-17). Ticket was not booked, but amount rs. 2640 /- debited to my sbi a/c : [protected] through online banking with message "ticket booking transaction was dropped". But there is no refund to my a/c. Kindly resolve and refund to my sbi a/c as early as possible.

                                I have booked 3 tickets to ranchi from barauni on 4th and 5th may'17 resp. I have cancelled these 3 tickets on 16th may.                                   There is a bug in irctc web

                                  1) when we search trains from station - to station then submit.
                                  2) click on any class e. G. Sl for any train
                                  3) then click on sl class for another train it will again ask for credentials and log out automatically
                                  Note:not taking time to click on another train class, after clicking quickly as well its getting an error

                                    I have booked ticket on[protected] in general in nanded panvel (17614) express from nanded to pune but the money got debited from my corporation bank account but didint get the seat reserved plz return my money rs -315 plz return it guys i want to... So plz give me my money back or my faith will be gone from you plz give me yar plz this has happened with me 2 to 3 times so plz give my money back...
                                    Tickets had been booked on 25 may from vizag to newjalpaiguri actually the transaction has been failed n the number is [protected] I saw in refund history rs 13, 860 credited in my bank account but amount is not credited.pls do needful as early as possible.my mobile no is [protected].

                                      I have been trying to book tatkal confirm ticket from Delhi to Rewa since 4 days. The network is getting jammed as soon as I click on Book at 10 am. I have tried best 4g networks with tested speeds and also different people tried from different systems, but everyday I am getting "waiting" status.
                                      I doubt if the online booking is deliberately jammed for consumers so as to allow agents and all to take entire set of tickets.
                                      Please look into this.
                                      Travellers who can't afford agent face a lot of problem, despite being on best network.

                                        I am having my irctc account username as abhay4059 which has been suspended. I was having 700rs in my irctc e-wallet which i had added just a few hours before the suspension. I also paid 50rs as registration amount at the same time. Irctc suspended my account and even has not been responding my emails and phone calls adequately for 5 months. Kindly help me in this issue and help me get retrieved my account and the money.
