My Name is Harsh Srivastava, I have been using IRCTC for booking of tickets for quite a long time and my user id is srivicky01.
After coming of Shri Modi Ji as Prime Minister, the IRCTC service was upgraded to a high speed system and I really appreciate the steps taken by Ministry of Railways for providing facilities to the IRCTC users that they became able to book tickets online by using IRCTC ID and that led to uprooting of brokers and agents who showed fear to general public of non-booking of tickets in TATKAL because of the slowest speed of IRCTC system.
It is really unfortunate to inform/complain you that the IRCTC system has again become friendly to those agents/brokers as for last one month, most of the IRCTC users including Me, have faced a problem i.e. whenever I tried to book ticket in TATKAL, it showed a message that "the site is currently unreachable, try after some time" exactly at 10:00 a.m.
If this be a situation, that the site is unresponsive exactly at 10:00 a.m. till 10:15 or 10:20 a.m. and in the meantime the TATKAL quota of tickets gets full, this appears that Railways is trying to mechanize IRCTC such a way that gives agents/brokers to mint money by booking TATKAL for others as they charge Rs. 500/- to 1000/- extra for one passenger ticket.
Keeping in view the problem faced by the general public and even mine, I request IRCTC and Ministry of Railways that IRCTC facilities is needed by
general public, and kindly dont make it privilege facility for agents/brokers.
