I ( S K SINGH) BOOKED TICKETS FOR JOURNEY ON DT 22/05/2015 FROM HABIBGANJ, BHOPAL TO INDORE VIDE TRN NO 22185, PNR NO [protected], TXN NO [protected] BOOKING DT 20/05/2015 FOR RS 1500/- FOR 4 PASSENGERS.
BUT UNFORTUNATLY THIS TRAIN WAS DECLARED CANCELLED BY INDIAN RAILWAY.THEN I CONTACTED FOR REFUND BUT AT BHOPAL RLY STN I WAS TOLD THAT THOSE WHO HAVE BOOKED THERE TICKETS THROUGH INTERNET WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET REFUND. AFTER WAITING FOR REFUND WHEN I DONT GET ANY INFORMATION ABOUT IT, I STARTED CONTACTING CUSTOMER CARE FROM 1.00PM DT25/05/2015 AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTACT NEAR 5.00PM. CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER TOLD THAT ACCORDING TO RULES YOU CAN GET REFUND WITH IN 3DAYS.THEN I WENT FOR REFUND THROUGH IRCTC PORTAL BUT IT GAVE MESSAGE THAT YOU ARE TO LATE FOR GETTING REFUND.
IT WAS SHOCKING THAT WHY RAILWAY DID NOT INFORMED ME TIMELY ABOUT CANCELLATION OF TRAIN AND TO GET REFUND TIMELY BY MESSAGE ON MOBILE, EMAIL ID THOUGH THEY GIVE MESSAGE ABOUT EVERY THING. HOW CAN RAILWAY KEEP BOOKED TICKETS AMOUNT ACCORDING TO SELF MADE RULES.OTHER ORGANISATIONS LIKE BANKS, INSURANCE, ETC GIVE UNCLAIMED AMT ALSO AFTER SEVERAL YEARS.
THATS WHY I WANT MY REFUND SOON BECAUSE 25/05/2015 WAS THIRD DAY FROM JOURNEY.OTHER WISE I WILL LEGALY APPROACH FOR THIS AND IRCTC RULES FOR KEEPING PASSENGERS REFUND AMT ILLEGALY------- S K SINGH, H NO 68, DEFENCE ESTATE, PHASE 2 .AGRA CANTT, UP MOBILE NO [protected], [protected]
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I booked a 3 AC ticket from Secunderabad (SC) to Palasa (PSA) underPremium Tatkal quota.
While searching for Trains, ticket fare showed us Rs. 1515 only perpassenger.
After completion of booking, IRCTC cut an amount of Rs. 9565.
Why, this much higher charge for four people? Itis nothing but, cheating.
Even though there is a note website stating that fares are dynamic, IRCTC is not showing the exact fare while booking the tickets.
We are upset because of this highest fare which is almost equal toFlight fare.
We could not enjoy the trip due to this sudden surprise / financialburden.
As a Government firm, IRCTC should not do like this.
While completing bank transaction, no one will check as ticketswill not be available under Tatkal/Premium Tatkal quota if delayed further.
I request IRCTC to refund the difference in fare(between Tatkal & Premium Tatkal) at the earliest.
