Dear IRCTC, For the past 5 days I am trying to book tatkal ticket online and I am getting the same error "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time", even though I sharply login into the site at 10:00. On first day I thought it might be some server issue which your technical team will resolve in an hour or so (being crucial issue). But for the continuous 5 days I am getting the same error. This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time

When I am trying to book the tatkal ticket, getting the error message : "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time". This error is frequent and we can't proceed any more till all the seats are filled, so we end up without booking. I am seeing this from last few days, probable a week. Where as previously this was not the case. There were no such errors and site was very smooth and faster in bookings. Please...

From past week we are not able to book Tatkal tickets as the site says "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after sometime" when we select Tatkal and select class. It comes back to normal after 10:40AM. FYI I have 10MBps Internet connection. Strangely Agents are able to book tickets without any hassle. I strongly believe this people are hacking your system to increase the load during Peak hours (10:00AM to 10:40AM). I request you to check if the site is really down, why agents are not affected by this?? why only common people like us??

    Respected Sir/Madam Good Morning. When I try to reservation in tatkal situation. In your site always gives me error or telling relogin. sometime it says captcha is wrong. Rather everything is right. And when It goes to waiting position then site is active and working finely. It is wrong behaviour with customer. So plz take quick action on this.

      I am getting frequently error while booking tickets in tatkal time. I am trying to book tatkal ticket from last five days but i am not able to do it.After all tickets are booked it is allowing me to book waiting list tickets.When i am booking general tickets it is working good. Is IRCTC is designed for specific users or only for agents or for all ?

        Please note that recently whenever I am trying to book Tatkal I am getting the following error. "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time" Please look in to it. This is not an isolated incident. It's happening repeatedly.

            I WAS TRAVELLING FROM VISAKHAPATNAM TO BONDAMUNDA IN 3 TIER AC. ON 20TH APRIL . THE COMPARTMENT ASSISTANT DID NOT ON THE AC FOR MOST OF TIME. IT WAS VERY SUFFOCATING IN THE COMPARTMENT DUE TO LESS VENTILATION. I INFORMED HIM 3 TO 4 TIMES TO ON THE AC. HE DIDNT RESPOND. I FEEL LIKE TRAVELLING IN SLEEPER. ITS WASTE OF MONEY TO GO IN 3 TIER.               Hello! I am Aakash Sanas. I had reserved my from Vadodara to Itarsi for 13th of May 2015 by the train Somnath Express. But unfortunately I cancelled that ticket for the same day. The PNR number is [protected], and it was cancelled on 17th of April early morning. The refundable amount is Rs. 285/- for the same, but still it is not refunded to my account. Please resolve my query as soon as possible. I had booked my ticket from online. my email id is "aakash.[protected]@gmail.com" or "aakash.[protected]@yahoo.com".

              I have filled TDR for 4 tickets which are includes in 3 PNR, when train was late more than 3 hour so I didnot travel .

              I had done Tatkal booking on 16 may 2015, for 17 may, my account got debited Amt 1343/- but i haven't got the booking for the same, at the same time i did another booking for which i got waiting ticket Amt 1043/-.                 I tried to book tickets from Anand Vihar to Begusari in Seemanchal express Sleeper.It displayed waiting of 23.When i tried to book the tickets and proceeded to make the transaction, it backed a message "no seats available, transaction dropped". But the transaction cost has been deducted .How will i get the amount back.Its almost 1352.47rs that has been deducted from my account.Please help me with the procedure the procedure to get refunded for unbooked tickets!!

                    Respected Sir Why there is so in Dayodaya express that no one come in reservation coach to check the tickets and people who don't have even general ticket travel in reservation coach who don't have even general ticket travel in reservation coach. Is there any mean to reserve a sleeper in this train ?

                          today i went for tatkal booking then what i observed was some people were writing their names on a peice of paper saying that that is the serial no. list .they wrote their names and went off to their houses after that they came at 9 :45 am saying that they wrote their names but what about us we were standing from past 4 -5 hours and they are getting the advantage we contacted the police man thei he was also not reactant to that what about the people who were physically standing there i expect from you that you will definitely take proper action to it

                            My tatkal ticket was partially confirmed and during the travel the TT on the train told me that since it is an e-ticket, the waitlisted tickets will automatically get cancelled and I will get the refund. When I filed a TDR, at first they told me that I filed it late, and hence NO REFUND! When I escalated, they said that I have put in a wrong reason while filing a TDR and hence NO REFUND! And finally when I hit them back again, I am told that I have to now provide an Original TTE Certificate/GC/EFT issued against PNR No.[protected]. In absence of the Original Certificate, refund cannot be processed. Stop fooling people IRCTC and start processing refunds!

                                My name is Vinay Sarda, while booking my ticket for the journey date of 5th April 2015 from Bikaner to Roorkee (Sleeper class), I was charged with 22.47 as irctc service charges . While booking again ticket from Bikaner to Makrana on 27 April, again I am being charged with 22.47 Rs, but irctc carges for Sleeper class is 11.24. My Transaction Id for transaction on 4th April is [protected]. Please look into the matter and resolve the problem

                                  Fine amount of double the ticket was levied even after provided Original ID card proof Hi, I have booked Tatkal e-ticket 2s(SL) for my father Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma from Amritsar (ASR) Departure-16:25 to BINA-Junction (Bina) for journey on 10 April 2015(Train 18238/Chhatisgarh Express).My father is a Retired Clerk from PSEB(Punjab State Electricity Board).He was traveling alone and on Demand of Ticket Collector(TT) he Show the Sms of Ticket on mobile, printed copy of e-ticket and Original ID proof mentioning his name, Employee Code And Pan card number on it (Photo Id card issue by Central Government-PSEB) as well as show the voter card id, but the Ticket Collector(TTR) refused to accept that as an identity proof which is totally unacceptable and insane behaviour of the ticket collector. Then, TTR was asking for the PAN CARD Only as a identity proof of him, but my father does not have the PAN card right at the moment.The TTR behaved rudely and fined Rs.940 (double the actual ticket fare for ), which is totally unacceptable as such, i have already paid for this ticket in the Tatkal by paying the amount of Rs. 642.47 online. If i had already paid for the ticket, the why my father had paid extra 940 rs as a fine to the ticket collector, if he had show him all the valid proof of him as a identity proof. As per photo Id proof concern, it is clearly mentioned in the tatkal ticket e-Slip that any of the mentioned below Photo Id card will be consider as the valid id proof. Voters ID card issued by the election commission of India PAN card issued by Income-tax department. Driving license issued by RTO. Photo ID card having serial number issued by the State/Central Government. Credit card issued by banks with laminated photograph. etc.. My Dad is traveling alone and he is senior citizen.The language which TTR had used was very abusing and it was harassment to the senior citizen I paid Rs.642.47 (Transaction ID - [protected], PNR-[protected]) for booking the tickets (online) and my father paid a fine of Rs.940(Receipt no-E029047 Dated- 11th April 2015)). So totally we have paid up ~Rs.1582 (which is totally insane). I NEED JUSTICE and I need to be charged only what I should be charged.Also the TTR who has harassed my father and caused mental torture to them should be punished. So I need to escalate this issue, as well as I need to get back my money if he has charged us wrongly. Thanks, Aradhana

                                    Dear Sir / Madam, I have not received rail cancelled ticket TDR refund or response to my complaints IRCTC # 809541, 721850, 692071, 614226 & 555872 even after 6 months of filing TDR which was wrongly rejected giving general reason " passengers travelled" Even after giving proof of travelled PNR number on same date & from same station, my another cancelled ticket TDR refund is not received which was from same station and date. It is obvious passengers cannot travel in two trains from same station & date. TDR Filed PNR # [protected] – Mao to CSTM, Mandovi Exp, Date: 28-Oct-14 (Not travelled in this train & filed TDR for refund well in advance before journey time) Travelling proof on another ticket - Travelled on PNR # [protected] – Mao to BRC, Goa Sampark Kranti, Date: 28-Oct-14 (Travelled in this train on same date from same station) I am waiting since November 2014 for TDR refund and response to my series of complaints for the same.
