I have booked a ticket, while booking it was showing availability of 140 tatkal seats but within 1 minutes while I have entered payment details My ticket was booked with 55 waiting. Okey no issue, But while refunding money By automatic cancellation they have deducted a good amount of 40 rs + other charges. My concern is that If I am deliberately cancelling my ticket then you may charge, but when unconfirmed e ticket is not valid for travelling why you are booking so many waiting and still much worse that you are charging for it. This is really a loot. Please stop it.

Ya everyone knows this and only indian railways are unaware about this and not taking any action against IRCTC..
IRCTC sells all its tickets to its authorised agents who charged between Rs.600-1000 per sleeper class ticket and can issue ticket within few hours.
They all are here to loot public and gives useless reason that there are many counters and according to them it was booked from counters. Now anyone explain is it possible to get 500 tickets from ticket counter within 5 mins ? In india its not possible..
Hope indian railway takes action against IRCTC and give contract to some trusted company..
Regarding PNR Number: [protected] I have complaint regarding the Tatkal ticket cancellation process :1. I booked tickets in Tatkal Quota from Mumbai to Jaipur DOJ 7th March 2014 2. 6th March evening I noticed 1 ticket was waitlisted and hence decided to cancel the ticket as it was mandatory for both passengers to travel together as they are senior citizens.3. After cancellation I noticed that out of 3500 Rs only Rs 1715 were reversed.4. I didn't get any prompt about the money deducted before the final cancellation confirmation.5. As per the commercial transaction guidelines for Online transactions we should have been informed of the deduction charges at the time of cancellation before the final click, not doing the same is a cheating with consumer.6. When we called up IRCTC customer care ( From - [protected] to [protected]) we were told by CC agent Gaurav blandly that we should have waited for last 6 hours and during that time full refund would have been processed. This point is not mentioned anywhere in the guidelines for the cancellation transactions.I demand refund of the full amount of this ticket and also I want answer to my complaint on point no. 5 and 6 mentioned above. As I believe there is no financial loss to IRCTC and Indian Railways due to my cancellation as that one birth will anyways be allocated to another passenger My money should be refunded.

    Dear Sir This is the Details of my Ticket. I filed the TDR for 2nd passenger at 21/12/2014 (same day as DOJ), because the train was late more than 3 HRS and passenger not traveled. Thus I file TDR and yet the refund not come in my account. And the details of this tickets is not in my IRCTC Account ID, so i can not check the progress status of refund.         I have travelled vide [protected] in 12478 jammu jat exp S-10 berth number 72. Sir, there was no water available in toilet. No persion has caqmefor cleaning the toilet even single time. Even there was no water in toilet, people were still using that toilet. PM and railway minister say lot on swach bharat, where as on ground reality does not come with only words. you have to show some thing on ground. Rates of item sold in pentry car, rate list may be pasted in all the compartment of coaches to avoid mal functioning. TT's are full of corruption plz look into the matter.

          Refunded amount not reflected in my bank account

          Dear Sir,


          On 24th of February, using my Syndicate Bank Debit Card, I have made a transaction in IRCTC by booking tickets for my family to go to my native place. This costed me 4462/-INR and the transaction number is [protected] and PNR for the same is [protected].


          However I have changed my travelling plans later and cancelled the above mentioned ticket on 27th February and expecting my refunded...

          I had book two tickets from LKO (Lucknow) to NDLS (NDLS) on 21st Feb for the Journey date of 22nd Feb. Out of two tickets one tickets goes to waiting list and one got confirmed.. Now i didn't get refund for another ticket... It has been almost 7 working days

              overcharging of tea/ breakfast by Pantry

              Details Train:12955 Date and Time: 01/03/2015 8:30 AM PNR [protected] The pantry delivery boys were charging Rs.10/- for a standard cup of tea instead of the prescribed Rs.5/- and Rs.50/- for breakfast instead of Rs.30/- All the attendants were hand in gloves in this act and acted rather sheepishly on questioning. I brought this to the attention of the TT as well who refused to take any stand and did not provide the complaint book...

                  In order to book 2S in Janasadabdi 12075 amount 137.47 got debited from my HDFC account, but seat wasn't booked(340+ seats were there). After confirmation page for money transfer, no booking status was shown. Since ticket was not booked, Later I tried again, and was able to book with PNR [protected]. Refund me with the amount. Date 01-March-2015.

                    I wanted to book ticket today from Lokmanya Tilak terminus to New Cooch Beehar for 29/04/2015. I am surprised that as soon as it was 08:00AM within fraction of seconds, I got waitlist 367 ( 380 seats were available in sleeper class). Same thing happened yesterday too. When I talked to ticket agents they are ready to provide ticket with same detail at the cost of Rs1000 per passenger. How is it possible? I also talked to my other friends. They told me that they are also experiencing same incidents. Please do something immediately.

                        SIR ON 11 FEB 2015 I WAS TRYING BOOKED TICKED LTT TO ALD STATION AND IT IS NOT BOOKED BUT AMOUNT IS DEDUCTED FROM MY BANK.NOW 17 DAYS HAPPEN BUT NOT GET REFUND AND IRCTC JUST SAYING IT IS REFUNDED.

                                dear sir, my sister dr. preeti is coming frm ndls to ggc by trainno. 12926 date 26/02/2015 in coach B4 SEAT NO, IS 43 and pnr no. is [protected]. this coach in condecter mr mohmmad atik ahmad bytickt cheked and id cheked but after id cheked he will deposit id and bad behave and herriesment . nad demand money 500/- rs..my sis is deny for money and she told purpose for money, after she denay mr atik told very poor lenguage and misvihave. my sis is calling me in train . then i will calling ratlam devision contreller mob. no.[protected].but they r not any action. and when i receive ggc my sis .the coach condecter told me my visiting card and told me bad anguage. and he told me yhat i[censored] rsee meto any day in train i will see you. so pls i will request plshard action of this coach condecter and punnish. i[censored] r not punnished i will go to court. t thnx bhavishya kumar agrawal bhanu indian cloth store gangapur city.322201 rajasthan kota division

                                  IRCTC has fixed Rs 7/- per cup of tea & coffee sold by platform vendors all across India. However in Trichy division its up to the whims and fancy of vendor. He may charge 8 to 10 as he feels like. Trichy being an important divisional HQ under Southern Railway, over charging is happening at Tricy Junction (TPJ) right under the nose of DRM & DCRM. If anyone objects, vendor will cajole at the complainant. They say this is my price, if you want to buy from us, this is the price. It happens in most stations under this division be it Thanjavur (TJ), Tiruvarur (TVR) etc. None seems to be listening. The snacks like Vada, Samosa etc are also overpriced. Water bottle is charged at Rs 20/- instead of 15/- Many people are not aware of the actual price especially the villagers, elderly, women etc. The quantity & price should be pre-printed boldly on every tea cup. Similarly on all food packets also the price should be written along with the name of item inside. Toll free complaint no should also be printed. Tea, Coffee, Water bottle are the most sold item in trains nationwide. Hence it should be painted on both ends of the inside end panel of every coach.

                                    Dear IRCTC Team,

                                    I booked two e tickets - PNR- [protected] (Amount Rs.- 491.24/-) from trivandrum to calicut in train no. 16604 MAVELI EXPRESS with date of journey - 21/02/15.

                                    When the chart was prepared I got the irctc message on 21/02/2015 on evening in my mobile no.[protected] that one ticket was in WL 1

                                    but on verification with the refund details, it is found that The cancelled wait list ticket amount has not been refunded to me till date

                                    irctc may kindly refund the amount ..
