Hi, I had booked my ticket from Secunderabad to Mumbai, and booked another ticket for my younger brother from Pune to Mumbai in the same train 18519/Visakhapatnam-Mumbai Express. Both the tickets were of AC II class. The PNR for both the tickets are PNR [protected] and [protected]. Issue - When I reached the station on my travel date, I was informed by the staff at the station that train has been cancelled due to cyclone and when asked about refund of money, they told that it will be refunded automatically directly in your account since your ticket was booked online. The very next day I had to reach Mumbai anyhow, since my next train for Allahabad was from there. So I made alternative arrangement for myself and my younger brother and managed to reach Mumbai to catch my next train. Now, its been a month and I have not received my refund yet. I mailed to IRCTC care and when couldn't get the proper reply from them after waiting for about 10 days, I wrote to AGM and DGM at the below mentioned email IDs- [protected]@sr.railnet.gov.in [protected]@sr.railnet.gov.in. And I got a reply from B.NAGESWARA RAO, Joint Director, Public Grievances, General Manager's Office, Southern Railway, Park Town, Chennai - 600 003 in which he directed IRCTC to look into the matter and gave folio number for this complaint as G.50/PG/WC/[protected]/626. But I did not get any proper reply and was asked to contact officials in Mumbai. I am now very frustrated with the behaviour of IRCTC customer care and other staffs and it seems they don't care for their senior officer like Joint Director and AGM, so where comes the common man. They just don't seem responsible towards their duty of proper communication and other processes required at their level. Now it is my request to Consumer Department to look into the matter and do the needful as I am really fed up of chasing them for my refund. And since the ticket was booked using credit card I bear extra cost and because of non refund I am paying interest on my credit limit hence, I ask for refund of not just the ticket amount but Rs. 10, 000 as minimum for all this pain and loss of my time.     I had booked retiring room on dated 10/11/14. My Pnr no. Is - [protected] and my train no. Is- 13483.on arrival date when I asked for booking the authority told me the room is not vacant and you have no booking . when I show all details of my booking and my paid slip and my confirmation of the booking message the authority told me there is server problem from Delhi and then can't allotted me room . when I told them this is wrong and I wI'll take action they misbehave with me and told me wherever Iwant to complaint I am free to go. I lodge complain in S.M office and when I tried to file complaint in CRPF they refuse to lodge complaint. I want judgement and strict action against these misbehave and irresponsibility.       I booked a Premium special train ticket on IRCTC on Dated 22-Nov-2014 (From Bangalore YesvantpurJunction to Bhubaneswar). After payment, HTTP 404 error found. I did not get any SMS and Email notification from IRCTC so I thought transaction was cancelled. I waited for 5 minutes After 5 minutes I logged once again IRCTC and checked for booked ticket history and found no record so book the ticket once again. This time transaction successful and got Email notification. But surprised to get the email notification of old transaction. As it is Premium special train so I unable to cancel the ticket. This problem is happened due to IRCTC web site. Not showing history properly. So I request you cancel one ticket and refund the money to my account as earliest.

But the with-drawl of money from my bank account without any authorization and without any transaction is very painful.           Tdr status shows cr registered bt refund amount not received

          Hi support team,
          I have booked a tatkal ticket from mgs
          To ndls for magadh express on 29th oct,
          2014 and date of journey was 29th oct, 2014.
          For reason train delayed more than 3 hours and
          The passenger has not traveled, i filled the tdr
          For the same in irctc against my ticket and the
          Status was turned to cr registered, but the
          Amount was not refunded yet.

          Dear Sir, Can you please tell me why TDR amount very less and somebody not got. PNR[protected]. Booked tickets cost are 709. But i got only 175 almost 20%. Is this rule for IRCTC giving if TDR filing At any way that seats aloted to other category or generally tickets with fine and some TTC will take amount for their pockets. Please look this matter and save the money public and save the money of government to become developed INDIA

            Train number 59387 was usually Late I Travel by the Ujjain to Indor and back.Its always that the train gets delayed by Half an hour or sometimes even one hour .It is very sad that the local train cannot follow the timing correctly .I would like the Local government or the Indian Railway to make sure that the train comes on time

              I had filed TDR for train is running late more than three hours and passenger is not travelling. According to refund rules of indian railways if train is late more than 3 hours full amount will be refunded. And the train is late more than12 hours. But irctc refunded me rs 185 instead of rs 375.                 It is to inform you that I had tried to book tickets on irctc from shakurbasti to bhatinda..twice, but unsuccessfully the amount was withdrawn from my pnb account and the tickets weren't booked.what I hope is that my amount would be refunded as soon as possible.waiting for a possitive response.yours sincerely

                    My PNR is [protected]. Due to delay in arrival of Train I had to cancel my journey. As it was E-Ticket, I had to fill up Online TDR. To my surprise the amount is still not refunded and it's over 3 months. My Journey date was 25th July.

                    I have sent 'n' no. of emails to TDR Process and CARE IRCTC email addresses, but all in vain.

                    Is there any better department where we don't have lazy fellows working and who would be interested to solve customer's problem?

                    Hi Team,

                    I am not sure whether you notifying IRCTC is valuable because till date the query is still unresolved. I haven't received my Refund Amount and I get no response to emails which I send to IRCTC Customer care or to all the addresses which they have mentioned.

                    There should be some mechanism to SUE IRCTC and make them realize how pain and agony a person is in when they come across their department. They SHOULD NOT Claim that they have a better service as I can make out from the people talking in their customer care.

                        sir, I have booked ticket PNR no. [protected] from TDD to YPR. But the train HWR-YPR was diverted on the journey date (13-oct-2014), and train didn't travel through boarding station. I was trying to file TDR from 13-oct-2014 for this eTicket, but I was getting following error. "TDR will be allowed after charting and train departure." On 18thOct-2014 only, I could successfully file TDR. (cancellation ID [protected] ). But TDR status is showing "CR Repudiate". This is problem from irctc, as IRCTC did not allow filing TDR within 3 days of scheduled date of journey. As a proof, I have attached snapshots of failing messages while trying to file TDR before 18thOct2014. I have sent email to [protected]@irctc.co.in. But they are telling TDR was filed after 3 days. so they wont process the tdr. But this was fault from irctc. they didnt allow filing TDR within 3 days. I have even sent an email regarding this TDR filing problem to same email address. they didn't respond. Please do the needful.

                          Sir, I have booked my onwards journey ticket by 22405 up Gharibrath to travel from ALD to Aligarh to travel on 19.11.2014, PNR No. [protected] but the train was late by more than 3 hours I filed the TDR for the same. But my return journey was also booked by 22406 dn Gharibrath under Tatkal scheme for the same day i.e.19.11.2014 PNR No.[protected]. I cancelled the return journey ticket because I could not complete my work at Aligarh due to delay in onwards Journey. I got a massage from irctc that there will be no amount refunded. It may be O.K. in normal course but in my case I was compelled to cancel the ticket. Therefore, I request you to look in to the matter and refund the amount.

                                TO The Consumer Forum, IRCTC dear sirs, this is with reference to my train journey from Bhubaneswar to Chennai & the prevalent state of affairs, the total NEGLIGENCE OF DUTY /lack of responsibility/ accountability on the part of the concerned railways staff. I had a very bitter / horrible experience on the train no : 12510, train name-Gauwhati Bangalore express, date of journey : 12th November 2014, PNR :[protected], coach no : S6 seat -57. I had big difficulty in boarding this reserved coach S6 at Bhubhaneswar station, there were unauthorised travelers who had occupied all seats, this coach is said to occupy only 72 passengers legitimately, but there were more than 300 passenger inside the coach. many passengers were seated in the pathways inside the coach. it was so difficult to even walk inside the coach to my reserved seat/berth .i had to argue/quarrel/fight with the unauthorized passengers occupying my seat. lots of luggage was dumped near the toilets. one side door of the coach was completely sealed and blocked by these unauthorized passengers. people were sleeping in the pathways of this coach. even to go to the toilets during the day and night was so difficult. the wash basin was dumped with luggages. this reserved coach S6, resembled worse than an unreserved compartment. almost all these unauthorized passengers were laborers/labour class. there was no sign of the T.T throughout my journey from Bhubhaneswar to Chennai. I have in this very same East coast train route, during my earlier in February month in 2014 from howrah to Chennai during a train journey, I faced the same problem. I sincerely appeal to the railways department, to own up their responsibility for the above state of affairs & kindly request you to : 1) to please reimburse my travel expenses as a compensation for the mental agony I have suffered during my journey. 2) please sack the concerned staff who were not doing their duties, and correct the above by remedial actions/ measures. awaiting your reply, with regards raam kumar Chennai e mail : [protected]@yahoo.co.in

                                  Today at 8.08 pm I received SMS on my mobile # [protected] from ICICI BANK that " Tran of INR 872.47 using credit card 4xxx5003 is made at IRCTC ON 17-NOV-14". On checking with the bank they have informed me that this amount is against transaction I'd 002019 on 17-NOV-14. I have not booked any ticket today and I am surprised how this amount has been charged to my credit card. I had booked a ticket using this credit card yesterday, the PNR no of which is [protected] and the total fare charged was same I.e 872.47 on my above credit card. What surprises me is the same amount of 872.47 is again charged to my credit card although I have neither booked any ticket nor did I visit IRCT site today. I therefore request you to immediately revert this amount back to my card with intimation to me. I am advised by my bank to file police complaint but I thought it proper to resolve the matter through your "Online Complaint Forum". Hope the matter will be resolved immediately.                                     Dear Sir/ Madam, This is regarding a ticket I bought from IRCTC online portal. Details of that ticket is as given below: Transaction ID [protected] PNR Number [protected] Train No 12262 From HWH To CSTM Date of Journey 04-Nov-2014 Date of Booking 03-Nov-2014 I had been ill previously and on the evening of the 3rd of November, I had fever with quite high temperatures. On checking the reservation status of my ticket, around 08:40 pm, I came to understand that I had been allotted an RAC ticket for the journey next morning. Since this would have been impossible for me in that physical condition, I enquired about cancellation process of such e-tickets, and was directed to TDR filing with reason "Passenger Not Travelled Due To Ticket In RAC After Chart Preparation". I was told by some knowledgeable people to do the TDR filing within two hours of the train leaving the boarding station. Therefore, on the next morning (4th November), a TDR was filed from my IRCTC account for the above-mentioned ticket at around 10:17 a.m., and also a tatkal ticket was bought, the details of which is given below: Transaction ID [protected] PNR Number [protected] Train No 12262 From HWH To CSTM Date of Journey 05-Nov-2014 Date of Booking 04-Nov-2014 I will also state for the record that I had been to a doctor on the morning of 4th of November, in the vicinity of my home in Sarengabad, BudgeBudge, Kolkata 700137. I can produce the Doctor's prescription if need be. Also, that I did travel to Mumbai on the next day, 5th of November, using my tatkal ticket (PNR Number [protected]). The TTE did check the sms sent by IRCTC to my mobile, and asked for verification document (Pan Card in this case). Yet, yesterday I received this mail, stating "Dear Customer, With reference to refund against PNR Number [protected] with reason Passenger Not Travelled Due To Ticket In RAC After Chart Preparation., it is advised that Railway has introduced Enhanced Coaching Refund System (ECRS), through which e- ticket refund cases against which TDRs are filed are directly registered and transferred to the concerned Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds. Your refund was dealt and regretted by Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds CR under case No. [protected] with reason, As per chart, passenger has travelled." Sir, this is clearly a breach of our trust in the Indian Railway system. I DID NOT travel on 4th November, and DID travel on 5th November. There is either a huge mistake on someone's part, or, may be the truth is much more sinister and stinks of bribes and unauthorized sale of tickets. Please look into this matter as soon as possible, or I would have to knock other doors to seek a redressal.                                       Train cancelled but not refund Train reservation PNR No-[protected], Trans ID-[protected] DOJ- 11.10.2014, Train No-12740 VSKP GARIB RATH from VSKP to SC was cancelled by railway dept due to cyclone"Hud-Hud" on Visakhapatnam. We take enquiry from Station Master at Hyderabad and they comments that the train has been cancelled and refund will be automatically done in your account but till date no any refund.
