Dear Sir, On 5th June 14, I have booked train ticket from IRCTC and payment got failed and my amount was deducted from my account. transaction id is [protected], IRCTC has given instruction to the bank to refund the amount but till date I have not received the amount back. same thing i have written to hdfc bank but but they are suggested pleas write to IRCTC.please resolve the issue and refund my amount in my account. For your reference i am attaching the earlier communication with bank Dear Mr. Kumar, Thank you for writing to us. This is with reference to your e-mail dated June 17, 2014 with Subject line : "'HBL=[protected]' Others Ref No:[protected][protected] 13:34:58". This is in reference to your e-mail regarding the non-receipt of your payment done through Direct Pay to the Merchant / Service provider. The only role of HDFC Bank is in facilitating the payment. The offering / terms and conditions of the product are laid down by the Merchant. Your account has been debited and the payment has already been made to the Merchant / Service provider. For any clarifications, we would request you to get in touch with the customer care team of IRCTC, who, on your instructions, will initiate the necessary rectification. In case, if the merchant is denying of the receipt of the payment towards the stated transaction even after 5 days of the transaction date, request you to bring this to our attention for necessary action.     I have travelled on 17th june 2014 in bangalore express 16525 from kottayam to coimbatore in ac 2tier a2 seat no 29 vide pnr no.[protected]. While getting down at coimbatore i have forgotten to take my spectacle from the seat. Kindly help me to get back the same. Spectacle is titan eye care in black spect cover.

    Don't think IRCTC can solve your problem. You should have registered complaint with railway police. That would have been the right authority.

      I tried to book ticket on[protected]:20:00 ist) from Gorakhpur Jn to New Delhi for 3 persons and an amount of Rs. 997.48 debited to my account but ticket was not booked. Till today i.e. 18.06.2014 the amount is not refunded to my account. The transaction ID of IRCTC site is [protected]. Please refund the amount .

        I got the e-ticket booked online under PNR No.[protected] from my Login ID on 27th May, 2014 consisting of 5 passengers. It was a confirmed ticket for all 5 persons under Coach/Birth No(s) C1-21, 22, 23, 24 & 25. On 16th June, 2014 at 7.44 p.m., I received a message on my mobile informing that “Your ticket Partial Cancelled and amount 1110 will be refunded in your account.” I am shocked to receive this message as I never got the ticket partially cancelled nor I requested for its cancellation. When I checked the PNR status, I found that 3 out of 5 passengers tickets were cancelled in a sequence i.e first, third and fifth passenger (C21, 23, 25 - odd numbers). On enquiry from Railway Helpline[protected] over telephone and through various e-mails to [protected]@irctc.co.in, I was informed as under : a) The ticket under PNR:= [protected] is successfully partly cancelled at your own end. b) The ticket under Pnr no [protected] was booked using upgraded version and to check the booking history, please follow the given path Log in>Proceed for booking>My Transaction>Booked ticket history. c) Your PNR NO:[protected] is canceled by your end only with the user id:-avneet1993 The above reply was totally evasive/stereotyped and not in consonance with the queries made by me as under : (1) These tickets were not cancelled by me i.e from my login ID using my PC/my Mobile etc. nor I made any request for their cancellation. (2) As nothing is being displayed in the history (booked/cancelled tickets) either in old as well as upgraded version of your site, please tell how the cancellation event has been exercised from my end. I have also forwarded / attached all the screen shots (to [protected]@irctc.co.in) that has been captured from your site on 17/06/2014. No screen shot shows the details of the ticket booked on 27 May 2014. I, therefore, request you to provide me the details how the cancellation event has been carried out and what was the mode of cancellation. Also provide the IP details/e-mail/number details used for cancellation. Please expedite the issue and provide with a proper resolution as the Journey date is 23rd June, 2014. I also request that this issue should not be assigned to a Customer Care Executive and some senior level official should look into the matter immediately as I have already wasted one full day following up the matter with them and have suffered too much harassment and mental torture.         Hi avneet, this has happened to me as well. So many others have complaint about the same. My ticket from Jaipur to Ajmer was cancelled. You will be better to post your complaint (and find solution) at this page

          Sir on 13/06/2014, I booked ticket(tatkal) from Gangapurcity to delhi. The amount of Rs. 312 deducted from my account but ticket failed to ganarate. Transactin ID no.[protected]. Plz refund the amount in my account no [protected]. I will be greateful to you.

          As per railway rules no refund is granted in case of confirmed tatkal tickets. However if the transaction failed the amount will be refunded automatically within couple of days.             I travelled on the Goa- Hubli train on 4th June 2014 by the three tier AC Compartment. To my disgust throughout the journey, there were cockroaches roaming all around the place while eating food and also while sleeping. Also, when I asked for the complaint book in the train, the people said that they do not maintain any such book . When is it that we would see a change in the maintainence of the 'Prestigious' Indian railways. Would like to hear about the change made to resolve this. Thank you

                            I booket tickets through e-ticket booking
                            PNR No. [protected], Train No./Name: Thirukkural Exp, Class 2A, From Jhansi to
                            Vijayawada Date of Journey is 14.06.2014. when I booked this ticket on 23 april
                            2014, booked as Wl3 and Wl 4. One day before travel this shown as confirmed and
                            on 14.06.2014 8.04 AM also shown as confirmed, But after chart prepared at
                            10.41 AM it shown as WL1 and Wl2. Because of this incident my travel plan
                            disturbed and i had another alternate ticket on 15.06.2014 by VSKP
                            swarnajayanthi from JHS to BZA which is confirmed, i have cancelled due to
                            this.

                            This is very very sad from IRCTC side, This
                            should not be happen to anybody. I feel there my be something has done in this
                            case by alloting my ticket to another passenger.

                            I seriously condemn this incidents by
                            IRCTC.


                            I am also sending written complaint to
                            IRCTC customer Care, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd., 9th
                            Floor, Bank of Baroda Building, 16, Parliament Street, New Delhi Phone Number –

                              Dear sir, i have booked three ticket from yadgir to dadar on date of booking 02/06/2014 transaction id [protected] and PNR Number is [protected] and date of journey is 03/06/2014. the total cost of three ticket was 1146.24+11.25 commision. and status was waiting list under tatkal quta on booking. after chart preparation its remains same means waiting list 12, 13, 14. and they refunded me the amount 1045, they deduct rs 112.59 E-ticket under waiting list is not acceptable in the train then why they charged me that amount i.e 112.59. the ticket was waiting list plz check and do the needful thankyou sir my mail id is Faa.[protected]@gmail.com please refend my amount of rs 113.57 they are not refund me amount please take the action

                                2. Cancellation of E ticket is not possible without Ho story records
                                3. The Transaction is too long too much of Numerical the IRCTC my transaction can take only limited number of numericals..
                                4. Ticket booked after 1/6/2014 NO History?????

                                  Sir, I am regular visitor of IRCTC website for booking tickets, past 15 days onwards on my computer it is showing as you have successfully migrated to new generation e-ticket booking and when I start booking ticket it continues when it comes to payment options only limited banks are shown. Earlier version SBI associate banks were shown now that option is not displayed kindly suggest me how to proceed further. Only State Bank of India payment option is shown among State Bank groups and I am a user State Bank of Hyderabad Card. Kindly respond to the compliant Yours sincerely A.S.Kishore

                                  Sir, I am regular visitor of IRCTC website for booking tickets, past 15 days onwards on my computer it is showing as you have successfully migrated to new generation e-ticket booking and when I start booking ticket it continues when it comes to payment options only limited banks are shown. Earlier version SBI associate banks were shown now that option is not displayed kindly suggest me how to proceed further. Only State Bank of India payment option is shown among State Bank groups and I am a user State Bank of Hyderabad Card. Kindly respond to the compliant Yours sincerely Lav kumar

                                    I am trying to cancel the ticket with PNR no [protected], train no22181 through irctc website, but the booking history does not show my ticket details, therefore am not able to cancel it. Even the customer care number is not working and there is No other way to cancel it.

                                      I have booked ticket from NZM to ERS on 05 Jun 14. The transaction is failed but the amount debited from my bank account. In the web site of IRCTC under my login it is showing the amount is refunded in account, but till date amount not credited in my bank account. The ticket details and shown in the web site is as follows:-

                                        I have booked a ticket from user ID "hanee11" with PNR- "[protected]" 12616 / G T EXPRESS.

                                        Date of Journey : 17-Jun-2014


                                        But in my account section, the PNR number is not shown. I want to CANCEL the ticket as soon as possible.
