This is against the system which our indian railway is following ...As an Indian i personally did not understand why cannot we change this old system and apply new ideas for the RAC passengers .


For the past 2-3 years i am travelling in Rajhani from Mumbai-Delhi- Mumbai in AC2 and if i book 3 tickets i will get 2 seats or 1 and a half seat ..or if i book 2 tickets i will get 1 seat. This is not acceptable


This year i have travelled on[protected] n have booked 2 tickets in August Kranti Rajhani from Delhi- Mumbai i got 2 RAC both sharing with unknown people ..I have to share seat with my 2 children in 1 seat ..i.e we are 3 persons in one seat .


I can suggest Railway to stop RAC also from travelling as u prepared yr chart 3 hours before the departure .As a passenger in my compartment i have notice all the seats which are front of the 4 seat r RAC passenger that means there are approximately 10-12 RAC passenger sharing a seat it is such an uncomfortable situation for an overnight journey .


I suggest Railway should work on this :


1. Like how Railways has started announcing from this Month, no Waitlist passenger can travel .-GOOD start.


2. Computerised system can do wonders, Your system prepared chart 3 hours before the departure, hence railways has details of confirmed passengers(in a coach of fifty seats i[censored] have 50 confirmed seats stopped RAC )
3.Railways can make it into the practise of passenger like how they have make practise of E -tickets .Once the rules are told i believe passenger will follow rather than struggling for the seat and unnecessary travelling .


4.OR railways should add Coaches for RAC .


I am interested if you can call people also when Railway decide on such matters, since we are the one who travels and face such situation.So we can tell better .

      Hi Sir, This is detail below for the transaction and amount 4800 is still not refunded in my account please look into this matter.Transaction id : [protected] and PNR no [protected] Cancelled date 30/05/2014, Train no 12453, Date of journey : 03/06/2014. i had got the sms on 30/05/2014 from the irctc that your tkt Cancelled .PNR [protected], Amt 4800 will be refunded in your account. but still the amount is not refunded in my account. sir request you to look into this matter.

      Amount will be refunded within 10-15 working days. I have received cancelled amount so many times during this period only. So be patience till jun 10

        booked history is not showing

        Dear sir, through Internet, I wanted to book a e- ticket from Asansol to Barkakana, journey date 11/06/2014 and payment was successfully done through SBI Netbanking, at IRCTC txn# [protected]IGV0390345 TRANSFER TO [protected] SBI I.R.C.T.C. COLLECT on 06/02/2014. But after successful payment I did not get any PNR for this. When I have checked my plan history, there was no ticket was booked but the amount was reduced from account.         Today, I received two call from [protected] and [protected], first caller told, he was from consumercomplaints.in and he needed my sbi debit card number to refund my IRCTC failed booking money, I just denied to give anything. After one hour I got another call from [protected], he told, he is from IRCTC and he needed my ATM CARD NUMBER to refund my money, I just gave him a random 19 digits number then he asked for my PIN for ATM CARD, I just denied this time but he tried to assure me that he is from IRCTC, without PIN he could not refund my money.

        So, beware of this kind of callers, they collect all your problems and mobile numbers from consumercomplaints.in and then call each victims to make them once more victims.

        consumercomplaints.in admin is also requested to take an action against above numbers.

        Yesterday, I got a private message from a user of this forum "helpdesk1800"
        His private message was as following :-
        pls provide us your mobile number

        I thought, it was from consumercomplaints.in so I pm him my mobile number and today I got two fraud calls asking for my ATM CARD and PIN number.

        consumercomplaints Administrator is requested to take an strict action against this user.

              Dear Sir, My Complain against IRCTC is that while I was booking ticket on 31-May-2014 around 11:15pm for the journey from Muzaffarpur(MFP) to Delhi(DLI) in train Darbhanga-Delhi Premium (train no-04023) for 04-June 2014, after successful transaction my account balance deducted but ticket not booked. No any trace of transaction or booked ticket is found but my balance deducted. It is not showing in either transaction history or failed transaction or booked ticket or cancelled ticket or booked history. Sir, Kindly provide me assisstance to get my money back.                   I have to travel to Bhubaneshwar from Gomo by train NDLS BBS SF spl No. 02816 .
                  I had to board at Gomo (departure time 1.25AM dated[protected] but the train was indefinite late
                  therefore I did not travel by this train. TDR was filled on[protected] at 6.00 AM .Till date I had not received
                  my amount.Do the needful and expedite the refund. According to rules
                  In case of train running late by more than three hours & the passenger not performing journey on this account, full refund is permitted subject to the condition that the ticket is surrendered/TDR obtained in case of I-ticket, if is in E-ticket customer should file online/mail to IRCTC within the prescribed time limits which are as under-
                  Ticket distance Prescribed time
                  Upto 200 Kms 3 Hrs
                  201- 500 Kms 6 Hrs
                  More than 500 Kms 12 Hrs

                            Sir, I have booked a tatkal ticket from the railway counter by giving the photo copy of my passport. When I undertake the journey the next day, can I produce my Original Pan Card or my Original Driving Licence (both with photo attached) to the Train ticket Examiner instead of the original passport with which I booked the Tatkal ticket. Kindly confirm at the earliest. Thanks and regards, (The Tatkal ticket mentions that the oringial printed identity card has to be produced for verification to the TT at the time of travel. It does not state if we have the right to produce a different Original identity card than the one with which we book the ticket from the railway counter)

                              Hi there, I booked 4 e-tickets of ARAVALI EXPRESS from Ahmedabad to Borivali. Date of journey was 10th May, 2014. All 4 tickets were in waiting when I booked them. And 3 tickets out of these 4 remained under waiting till the time of journey, only one ticket out of these 4 get reserved. So, we can't traveled through the train because 3 tickets remained in waitlist. And I didn't get refund amount of these 3 tickets yet. The date of journey was 10th May, 2014 and today more than 15 days passed, but still I didn't receive refund of these tickets. Here are few more details of those tickets: PNR Number: [protected] Transaction ID: [protected] I tired to contact following numbers. But didn't get solution from there.                                 Hi, I have booked 2 tickets on irctc website and following Transaction ID PNR [protected] [protected] [protected] [protected] However each time there was an error when I made the reservation just after i made the payment. While doing booking on 23rd first time there came an error just after i gave password of my ticket.Then I checked booked history and there was no booking made.So I re did the booking. However in my bank mini statement there were 2 deductions of the 3500 was done. Similarly the second booking which I did today again the same thing happened. The booking failed first time and no entry in booking history and then i re did the booking to only find out that the same amount has been again deducted first time. Can you please help me on this. I have already told this to bank help desk. Regards Kartik

                                    Hello sir, Here in RAJULA city(GUJARAT), they are selling the black tickets and normal user cannot get the ticket in counter instead of standing in QUEUE.Here, all the staffs, including Station Master, Ticket operator, and peon.From this a normal User cannot get the ticket by standing in QUEUE in Emergency time.How the Normal User will Survive???.in his difficulty time and a normal user face this problem in his critical moment.The staff is without batch no and his identity proof.And if we are telling this to them they are misbehaving with us.
                                    Now I will tell how this black ticket is conducted?
                                    The staf[censored]sed to collect details from the dalal day before and early morning they used to book the ticket and standing person in queue cannot get the ticket.please take the reliable action...
