Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — I wrongly selected the gender as 'female' instead of 'male' | |||||
I booked a tatkal ticket using irctc site today (25th april 2016). When i booked, i wrongly selected the gender as 'female' instead of 'male'. Since that is a tatkal ticket, i don't get money back if i cancel. I contacted irctc customer care (139). They are sauying can't edit the ticket, have to cancel the ticket and book again, but its tatkal ticket and i wont get money back. Please advice on this... Info: i have all proof of documents(Pan card, aadhar card) to show it was wrongly selected the gender as 'female' instead of 'male'. Was this information helpful? | |||||
