I had filed tdr against pnr number [protected] (Train no.01322 - ten pune exp travelling from palakkad to pune), since the train got derailed on 16th may, 2017 near meenakshipuram (After crossing pollachi station). The scheduled arrival time at palakkad jn. Was 03:45 pm, but it was re-scheduled to 10:30 pm. Even after that, i had waited for the train for 4-5 hours, but the railway authorities at palakkad jn. Told that it would get delayed more, so they adviced me to file tdr, so that i would get my money refunded. I had booked my ticket through irctc website. I had filed tdr just because the train got derailed and i couldn't travel in that train since it got delayed by more than 20 hours. Railways had rejected our plea stating that ticket not surrendered upto 4 hrs. Before the scheduled departure of the train. How do you expect me to surrender the ticket upto 4 hours before the scheduled departure of the train when the train got derailed in the half way. I had sent a mail to [protected]@irctc and also to mr. Suresh prabhu, but it was in vain. No positive response from them. Its a hardearned money, i don't want to lose it.
