I had booked a ticket for 3 passengers and we did not travelled because train was more than 10 hours late by its original time so i raised tdr against the pnr. I am expecting that sum of money to be credited to source. Before filing tdr, i have already called several times at irctc customer care to check for any other method to get refund as trains were getting much delayed and i cannot travel in such situation since my father is a patient. They have asked me to file tdr and amount will be refunded only if train would be delayed for more than 3 hours. Pnr [protected] Transaction id [protected] Train no 12560 Date of journey : 8 dec 2016 Now today i have received mail as below The tdr filed against pnr number [protected] with reason train late more than three hours and passenger not travelled. Has been repudiated by the chief commercial manager/refunds ne due to reason, as per chart, passenger has travelled as per the indian railways refund rules https://www.services.irctc.co.in/betaDoc/Amendments_RefundRules_2406.pdf Please note that the decision about the repudiation/ rejection or amount of refund has been taken by the concerned zonal railways as per extant refund rules of indian railways and not by irctc.
