Dear sir,
I had sent my two wheeler (Bajaj Pulsar 150- black colour), bearing registration no.WB-64-C 6520 on 2nd of Aug 2011 from Bhubaneswar to New Coochbehar. The reciept no of the parcel is B 049042, booked in the name o[censored]ma Shankar Yadav. The parcel was loaded in front SLR bearing no. NF98705 in Guwahati bound Puri Guwahati Express (train no . 5639) from Bhubaneswar.
When the train reached New Coochbehar at around 3AM on 4th August 2011, the parcel officer with coolie was ready to unload the bike, but the guard denied to unload the bike, stating that there is no parcel bound for New Coochbehar.
Today it has been more than 20 days and still our parcel is not being delivered. When we are trying to contact the Bhubaneswar parcel office, they are telling that thay have sent the parcel to New Coochbehar and when we are trying to contact New Coochbehar office, they told us to contact Guwahati office, as the parcel may have been delivered to the Guwahati office. And Guwahati office is telling that they haven't recieved any bike.
We are in a fix as to what to do. And these parcel offices are playing a blame game and at the end, we have to suffer. We are in the urgent need of the bike but railway people are showing their indifferent attitude. As a customer, its very annoying, as I'm Not able to trace my bike and even no body is guiding asa to what to do.
Its really an evidence o[censored]tter negligence on the part of railway administration and I have suffered a lot. If possible i want to lodge a complaint against parcel service of Indian Railways and i request you to please do the needful.
Thanking You
Yours Faithfully
Uday Yadav

we had purchased an e-ticket under Tatkal Scheme. My mother in law and a cousin were travelling in 2945 Tapti Ganga Express on 28.7.10.The PNR is [protected]. During the journey the TTI insisted for Indentity proof, which the passangers did not have. The rules for the Tatkal Scheme states that 'No Identity proof is required to be produced neither at the time of booking nor during the journey." Photocopies of the same were produced to the TTI. However the TTI did not listen, misbehaved and threatened. We had to pay Rs. 1620 as excess fare ticket charges amounting to Rs. 1620.00 vide receipt No. C813249 dt 29.7.10.
Kindly take necessary actions against the TTI and help us get the refund.
