[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — airlines did not allow to board | |
Flight was scheduled to depart on 7:30hrs and i arrived at check in counter at 07:00 hrs where airline officials denied check-in inspite of the fact that boarding was still in progress and i was a single passenger with no baggage. They could have accomodated me as it would take me hardly 15 min to board the flight but it seems they had commercial priorities where they charged additional rs 1000 to accomodate me in another flight scheduled at 08:30 hrs Details as mentioned below Indigo flight number 6e6918 Ranchi to kolkata Was this information helpful? | |

Verified Support Dec 15, 2018 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi Pradeep, We totally understand the discomfort you must have faced. Please know that the check-in counter closes 45 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. As checked, you had reported at 0700 hrs to our counter. Since our check-in counter was already closed, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight. Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you.
