My flights were booked for 23rd-mar-2020 from chandigarh to varanasi and return was on 27th-mar-2020, since punjab is lockdown to prevent the spread of covid19 this airline still wants me to come to airport and board my flights as they are not providing any refunds since the situation will be unknown till march 31 i dont want to travel but indigo policies you can cancel the tickets and they will deduct cancellation charges and etc and will refund the remaining amount which is almost nothing. Why i am not eligible for a full refund when i m supporting india at this stage. It seems they still want to do business when our country is facing complete lockdown, no one in the govt is bothered about this. Here is the chat transcript of indigo airlines. However after rescheduling, request you not to use the pnr for future reference. Also convenience fees will be non-refundable. Further i would like to inform you that rescheduling can be done anytime till 2 hrs prior to scheduled departure time for domestic flights and anytime till 4 hrs prior to departure time for international flight under consideration of corona virus and flight must be after 72 hrs from departure time. You may opt for travel certificate which is INR. 200 per passenger per sector by clicking on this link- https://bit.ly/11v2V9b, and enter booking reference which is a six-digit alphanumeric number, registered e-mail ID. Travel certificate will be generated within 24-48 hrs on the same page after making the payment.
