[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — declined to board the flight after having a fully charged ticket | |||
Hi, Im joseph sylvester barlow, my son neil joseph barlow is studying in christ university bangalore, he had come to visit his family during diwali holidays and was supposed to return to bangalore today dated 06-11-17 via indigo airlines flight number 6e839 scheduled departure at 3:15pm. He managed to reach the airport 2:30pm and rushed at the check in counter to collect his boarding pass, he did not had any check in luggage and only had hand baggage, he gave his name and showed his aadhar card to the executive present at the counter at that moment. He demanded his boarding pass but the executive refused to issue him the pass stating that he is not eligible to board since there was not much time left & also indigo airlines cannot provide shuttle service to their customers from whom they charge full amount of the ticket. It was only at the counter only that lost another 10 mins in the conversation. He was then asked to leave without even refunding the ticket amount & was told that the refund would be arranged only when he will makes a call to indigo customer care. I want the airlines to make necessary arrangements to send my son to bangalore within 3 working days. Otherwise, i will have to take strict actions towards the airlines.
