[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — indigo no show refund

Dear sir / madam,

I am sorry to bring to your kind notice that i had bad experience with indigo flight at hyderabad.

I have booked flight on may 31 2018 to go kolkata and i was booked your flight no. 6e6246. Vide pnr no: hg8u7a.

We have reached the counters early and got delayed at bag security check and reached the gate at 9.35pm and we are not allowed board the flight. But gate will close at 9.45pm

We request your ground staff for the next flight too. But the indigo team not allowed us for the next flight at 10.30 pm too.

We are with infants and kids we requested them like any thing. Even after knowing that our baggage was security checked. They did not let me check - in for next flight too. This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and my family. Which caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on us.

Indigo ground team told that we have flight in the morning and give the best offer price for that. Then we said ok and moved back boarding area to indigo counter at hyderabad airport. And asked about the price then he said 35k to us and we shocked like anything. And we have asked what is the refund for the flight 6e6246. Vide pnr no: hg8u7a on may 31 2018 then he replied 5, 800 plus. Then we said ok and asked for refund then counter person said money will credit back to your account automatically.

Refund is not happened like that i have made multiple calls to customer care. At last, they did a no show refund transaction and i received amount around 2k as refund via clear trip.

Our feedback about indigo is that stating best price is 35k and understand that indigo team is cheating public like any thing.

We are writing this with lot of pain that is caused by indigo team. We spent whole night in airport with infant and children and booked by other flight next morning to reach our destination with most better price than indigo.

What we request is kindly take proper action on indigo so that in future no one can face this kind of problem and i request for refund our amount.

We have investigated the concern and would like to summarize our findings. You were booked to travel in flight 6E 6246 from Hyderabad to Kolkata, which was scheduled to depart at 21:45 hrs on 31st May 2018. As per our policy, boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. As per our records, you reported at 21:38 hrs at the boarding gates. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. Since our boarding gates were already closed our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.
Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help to you reach your destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which was not accepted by you. Also, we are unable to fetch any such commitment given by our staff regarding refund of no-show taxes. We request to share the name of the staff so we may crosscheck this.

How can I remember the name of the person. Initial when we asked a lady is there and later gent with spectacles is there and told about refund. I request your team to verify your video records about my discussion with your team.
