Indigo Airlines — MIssing baggage and misleading information | |||
This is to place a complaint against your ground staff in chennai who were handling baggage for 6E272( PNR G6GJTS & ECPVXN)today - 14th jan, 2016. We had checked in 4 check in baggages and while we were waiting, inside the aircraft, for take off, one of your ground staff came specifically to me and enquired on the number of baggages that we had checked in. And confirmed that the number tallied. On landing in kolkata, we figured out that one of the baggages were missing (cognizant marked grey and blue backpack-Pnr ECPVXN, tag no 6E [protected], Seq 0135). What surprises me is that this issue was identified, at chennai, when we were waiting for take off, the ground staff simply lied to us and gave wrong confirmation about the number tallying. We had an infant and my aged mom with us and we had to spend almost 1 hour in kolkata to find out the baggage and then registering a complaint. This is simply ridiculous. Firstly i need your team to identify the baggage and return the same to my address in kolkata as per the complaint made at kolkata airport. Secondly i need someone to call me and explain why we were misled by giving wrong information at chennai. If the issue was identified why were we not informed about the same there itself for us to be mentally prepared for this and avoid the harrassment at kolkata airport. Also the kolkata indigo team could have been informed of this for them also to be prepared for this. I am not sure how you claim to be the most efficient airlines with such process gaps.
