One of the Worst exp from most reputed Airlines service providers. “INDIGO AIRLINES” *Incident* :- Along with my friends, I went to Lucknow and on Sunday morning, 8:35 AM we all were supposed to travel back from Lucknow to Bangalore (PNR KLP48E and TG7MVZ). My friends were along with their family .We got shock of our life at around 10: 45 PM on 9th February as an SMS ' Your flight to Bangalore has been cancelled due to operational reasons.’ One link was provided in that SMS. When we clicked on that, it opened the Indigo Airlines website and we saw that 1: 15 AM a flight was available. We tried our level best, sooooooo many times to book it. "It never happened and it was really frustrating for all o[censored]s." We immediately decided to go to the Lucknow airport and book the ticket directly from the Indigo airlines counter. We somehow managed to get a taxi, rushed to the airport and requested them to book the tickets for us ASAP. But alas!!!, the indigo staff at the counter checked and told us that no seats were available for this flight. We enquired with them the next available flight to Bangalore. "They told that all flights has been cancelled for the next two days!!. Atrocious !!. If you want we can book for Tuesday flight i.e 12th Feb. If you want tickets earlier to this, it is not at all possible for us, the only option is to cancel the ticket and refund the amount." What an excellent response from India's most trusted airlines which is “On-time, is a wonderful thing!”...!!!.. We were Awestruck with this wonderful Airlines!!! What a punctuality .. What a customer experience Arree Wah!!!.. We were stranded in an unknown city in the middle of the night. No one to help us and not even any accommodation or help provided. This is the heights of irresponsibility. Having no other option, we were forced to book the next available flight to Bangalore (Go Air) the next day evening scheduled at 7 PM( took off at 8: 45 pm). We paid extra amount (4 times than the actual cost of the indigo flight for each person )...it costed almost 1 lakh rupees which is humongous for us. Who will pay the extra amount which is spent unnecessarily from our pocket. Indigo told us its operational issues( which were a bunch of lies). 1) Bad weather 2) All flights to Bangalore cancelled for next two days. 3) The next day on 10th we reached airport at around 5 pm and was shocked to see an Indigo flight from Lucknow to Bangalore at 8 pm. They could have at least accommodated us in that flight which they never told us in first place.. When we asked them about it, they said we never asked about . Which is Utter nonsense. When we pleaded with them, the Indigo staff told us to contact customer relations team to get some compensation. We contacted customer relations yesterday(11th Feb 2019) and they have just given us coupons worth for 19479/- for all o[censored]s together, which is just 19% of overall cost unnecessarily paid by us for no fault o[censored]s!!! This is just about the cost of one go air ticket we flew and is just peanuts. This is not acceptable at all.. Today's in news its updated that so many Indigo flights were cancelled due to shortage of pilots for this airlines.. Real reason were not at all informed to us . • What customer service and Customer Satisfaction these airlines are offering!!!. We were literally stranded in Lucknow in Midnight. • Who will compensate the money. Indigo should have taken the responsibility of the accommodation and borne the extra cost. • Never expected such a behaviour from the so called “India’s Best Airlines”. Just like to indicating “Operational Issues” and washing of their hands will not do .. "We demand refund of the tickets and Full Refund of the amount which we had to spend extra for no fault of ours and for all the hardships we had to go through in an unknown place at the middle of the night.!!!. The Indigo staff at the Air port just washed their hands off all their responsibilities and didn’t put any effort to accommodate us on any other flight, nor did they make any arrangements for stay or food. They left us all hanging high and dry. All we got was a bunch of lies and deceit.
This is not the experience we want our customers to have. We believe that our Customer Relations team has assisted you with the best possible resolution in this regard.
