sir ,
iam a citizen of kolhapur age 20 yrs i hav registered this complaint for the fact of various reasons .
i travel freqently on the banglore to mumbai highway the tolls their are taken by private individuals who are local mafia and the people collecting toll are local gangsters on asking something for example return ticket they dont give they dont even know how to talk wih custoers they use abusive language and threten to kill ..at night they become more powerful as they are in gull force on asking their identity cards or superviser they show fake individual .they also drank during their duty hours and sometimes they dont give receipts to the cars who are in hurry .sir this is disgusting if iam paying and getting this kind of treatment than wats the use their are always traffic jams on the toll both .the toll boths between kolhapur and satara are the most dangerous tolls as they have also physically hitten people whom i know and i can produce sir the code of conduct should be their and identity cards shall be their the unknown people hit people or else we shall learn from them and do the same ....our system is corrupted so these people are active p[lease this is a serious mater look into it and yes i[censored] dont look than one day will come when we the customer have to plant a bomb and blow these tolls. police are actively suporting their practices.

    It is very disappointing to note below points about the flyover construction going on near Kashimira (Mira Road):

    1. Why the work is not being done in patches. They have dig the entire area and is now causing huge traffic congestion in the evening. We are wasting our precious time and money besides being getting highlhy frustrated.
    2. They are not taking care of the digouts. It is being dumped there and there itself again causing pollution and heavy traffic
    3. It is really unclear who is the monitoring authority. Why there is no periodic assessment of work being done? Who is responsible for this?
    4. What is the timeline of completion? Why there is no display?

      SIR, THE TOLL IN CHARGE BEHAVED IN VERY RUDE MANNER WHILE PASSING MY CAR FROM TOLL CENTRE. HE ALLOWED OTHER VEHICLE TO PASS FIRST INSPITE OF MYSELF BEING AHEAD OF HIM. THE HANDLE PIPE OF GATE WAS ABOUT TO FALL ON MY CAR, MY DRIVER JUST MANAGED TO STOP IT ANYHOW & GOT INJURED. ON COMPLAINING, TOLL INCHARGE WAS NOT READY TO PAY ATTENTION TOWARDS THE COMPLAINT AND HE TOLD ME TO SUBMIT MY COMPLAINT AT COMPANY OFFICE. THE DATE & TIME OF INCIDENT 30.10.2010 AT 20.04 PM

        With all due respect to the company but i am very disappointed with the kind of staff they have employeed at their Thane-Nashik highway, which fall some where close to Kalwa on the way to Kalyan. I travel daily from kalyan to Thane via this Toll plaza, since 2 years i am taking monthly pass regularly. But still they harass for checking toll. even after pasting the pass on the front glass of the car they still pull the iron gate or they will bang the car door or glass. every time 4 to 5 guys are standing to collect toll b ut all of them are careless and blind. due this my car has got 2 dents and once i went and bang in to road block which they used to stop the pleading cars. Please teach or educate the staff how to behave with the citizen. last but not the least they do not have manners to talk to ladies.....when ever my wife drive alone they will unnecessary stop the car and ask for toll even after displaying toll pass on the car windshield.

          What is the Logic for collection of toll at the Thane - Mulund Check naka? Some people tell me it is for the flyover that have been built in Mumbai. In that case, why charge the people going out of Mumbai (into Thane) for the flyovers that have been built within Mumbai. Introduce a Mechanism to charge the cars plying within Mumbai also. Can someonce please tell me for what reason is the toll being collected at the Thane - Mulund check naka. Elsewhere, in this forum, i read that the toll that is being collected there is no longer valid and that it is being collected illegally. Can someone please confirm this or let me know from where I can conform this. The toll is very high and i dont see any logic to that toll. They haven't built a bridge (as is the case for the Vashi toll) or a new road which was never existent (as in the case of Mumbai - Pune expressway).

          IRB Infrastructure Customer Care's response           Dear Mr.Vyas, We have carefully noted your grievances posted at ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ by email dtd : 13.01.16 and wish to clarify as under : First & foremost we would like to inform you that we have been carrying out toll operations on Vasad & Kheda Toll Plazas as per the guide lines of NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) under Notification No.S.O.2921 (E). We are unable to attach the said notification as there is no provision of adding the same in this website. With regards to high toll rates please be informed that determination of rates is done by the Authority, NHAI and not by concessionaire (IRB). At the same time, as per aforesaid Govt. Notification, though there are no exemptions to any individuals , there is a provision of issuing ‘Local Discounted Monthly Passes’ for the local residents, provided they furnish proper & valid documents, needed for such transaction, including proof of residence etc. Post such submissions, Toll Plaza Admin Office / Toll Plaza Manager then scrutinizes the documents and local passes are issued, once documents furnished, are found to be acceptable. You are advised to kindly visit to our Vasad / Kheda Toll Plazas Admin Offices for availing facilities in payment of toll charges for locals. For reduction in toll charges you may contact to concerned Govt. Authority. We are not in agreement with your views that toll collecting agencies are changing in every 2 years with hike in toll rates. IRB has taken over the charge at Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway since January 2013 to till date; whereas as per provisions with aforesaid Govt. Notification and Concession agreement, the toll rates has been revised / will be revised. Hope this will clarifies your queries. Assuring you our best services at all times.           IRB — Road Quality

          Qaulity of the road is pathtic and still IRB is collecting toll from vehicles.... Also they have just incresed the toll charges from Rs. 48 to Rs. 52...it is realted to pertuclar patch of Satara-Karad NH4...also on highway no demarkation found about devider and lane .....can somebody look into this.....

          I agree to this. Also the Mumbai toll collection is not justified for Thane registered vehicles leaving Mumbai and entering Thane jurisdiction and Mumbai -registered vehicles entering Mumbai jurisdiction as they have already paid the one-time road tax for the vehicle - up to 15 years in advance. Total revenue of Rs. 120 crore is collected to cover the costs for construction for flyovers (1500 crore) by levying cess on petrol and diesel (50 crore) and toll charges (70 crore) in Mumbai plus 50 crore vehicle tax revenue. Thus, by 2010-11, the cost of the flyovers should be recovered. Additionally, the cars registered in Maharashtra are paying Octroi charges for being utilised in the state. This is ridiculous.
          I live in London, UK and there are no such charges except for congestion charges in central London to curb pollution.

          there should be transperancy about how much the are collecting daily how much is there expenses whether they are realy incurring the expenses what they have estimated etc.

          corruption is at its peak ...in thane - mulund checknakas, , , , , regional politicians are getting there haftas for not raising the voice against the illegal toll naka in mulund...this shud stop ..if some1 is listning to us ...plz help us ...there is a multi crore scam involved in this ...!!!

          i also hav same grudge my dear friend this is corruption and yes if we the people come 2gether we will make them stop its more than 10 years they r collecting toll ..u can contact mr pratap sarnaik local mla and also u can get the information from thane coorporation .we shall do a no toll campaign

          IRB — Invalid Toll

          IRB company take unauthorised toll from vihicals located in Dombivali city at Katai toll naka .also not mention the vihical no and type of Vihical segment on toll reciept.

            this is to inform you that on both sides of the Thane -Bhiwandi Highway just after the Rustomjee Construction the Garbage is increasing like anything. TMC Garbage trucks are Putting there Overloaded Garbage beside's the Highway and move towards the Kalyan Dumping Ground. I m the Travelling through the Road From past 3 years..The Garbage is increasing Tremedously.....Please do something....It is giving Birth to Many Diseases.....

              Dear Sirs,

              On payment of toll at the Khaniwade Toll Plaza, the receipt makes a mention that the toll is being collected "as per Notification No. SO 403(E) dtd 5th Feb 2009" for the section "Manor Dahisar section on NH-8 kms 439 to 502kms." I own a Tata207DI pick up truck which is categorised as a light commercial vehicle and made to pay Rs.78/- (single) or Rs.118/- (multiple for 24hrs.). In essence, as I stay in Mumbai and have got a farm at Deherja, Vikramgad taluka, which is 20kms off the highway from Mastan Naka/Manor, I end up paying Rs.35/- at Dahisar and less than 30kms later Rs.78/- for the next 30kms. i.e. till Manor, which works out to Rs.113/- each way.

              When I requested for a copy of this notification it was unavailable with the Toll Plaza attendants. On searching for the same on the net, I only managed to find "S.O. 3110(E) published in Gazette of India dated the 4th December, 2009, regarding acquisition of land for building, maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. 8 (Surat Manor Tollway Project) in the State of Maharashtra" on the National Highways Authority Of India site. So I would like to know on what basis am I being made to pay such high toll on NH 8.

                Dear Sir,

                This is with reference to the above subject. We have applied for IRB INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPER LTD IPO. The total share that has been applied is 90. Our Application number is 42423986. When we speak to Registrar : Kary Computerware, we get answers like we have been alloted shares 90. When we look in our DP account there is no shares alloted. When we go the KARVY COMPUTERWARE office in our city, he tell me that your dp id and address was wrong. So that I get one application to him for my coorect dp id and address. Last 12-15 days no answer from the karvy comp. and no share allot in my dp account.

                I have lost my money and there are no share alloted in my DP account.

                i had worked in ur company near about 7 yrs. ( toll division )

                but after resign i m not getting any pf details from ur company side .company gave pf no to all employees.

                i enquired in gov pf office at bandra & thane they told me ur company hadnt create any type of employees pf a/c.
                company gave pf no to all employees.

                i talk with ur HR managers about this above problem.they told me ALL employees pf details didnt send to gov pf office .
                so how to generate pf no.
                plz any one take serious about complaint.
