Irctc — cancelled tickets refund not credited to bank account and fraud committed by IRCTC staff | |||
Dear sir, I cancelled two tickets booked through IRCTC PNR numbers [protected] and [protected] for Lucknow to Chennai and back on 4th June 2014 and message came on my mobile that an amount of Rs.2810/+2810 will be credited to my account soon. Yesterday on 11th June I filed a complaint to care.irctc.co.in around 4.30 in the evening for refund of the cancelled tickets. within 10-15 minutes I received a phone call on my mobile number [protected] from 91 [protected] from the IRCTC and the person on line enquired about my complaint to irctc and asked for the debit card details and the password/PIN which I provided innocently. The man on line stated that he is calling from irctc and that there is some technical snag in the system and that the amount will be sent soon to my account . But to my utter dismay I come to know that Rs 1500/ has been fraudulently debited from my account within minutes. There seems criminal conspiracy by the irctc staff in calling me about my complaint and then asking for the debit card details and then fraudulently withdrawing Rs. 1500/ from my account. Please refund immediately the amounts of my cancelled two tickets and Rs. 1500/ withdrawn fraudulently by your staff calling me from your center.
