Irctc — Refund for Air India flights (6-10th May 2020 cancelled due to lock down | |
This is to bring to your notice that I booked the Air India ticket on 19.2.2020 through my IRCTC account (Transaction id: [protected]) for four passengers to travel LKO-DEL-LKO on 6.5.2020 and 10.5.2020 respectively. But due to corona pandemic the flights were cancelled. As per instructions of Ministry of Aviation and guidelines of GOI, I want full refund of this returnable flight. I contacted IRCTC and AirIndia customer service repetitively (several reminders) and requested for refund. However, till date no refund was made. N Goyal As per telephonic conversation with Air India, they are not in receipt of any refund request till today. While IRCTC is claiming (again telephonic conversation) that, the refund application has been generated at their end on 17th Sept'2020. With continuous persuasion it came to my knowledge that IRCTC sales/customer service did not yet forwarded/communicated that refund application to AirIndia sales and customer (me) hence, refund could not processed by Air India. I therefore request you to look into matter and do the needful for forwarding this refund application to Air India (with a copy to me) so that refund can be processed.
