Jabong.com — negligence and order cancellation without my consent | |||||
I ordered a product from jabong site on 11 feb 2018. It was supposed to dispatch by 14th feb and deliver by 21th feb. On 16th feb i got msg from jabong saying that product dispatch is postponed to 17th feb. But till 18th the product was not dispatched. I called jabong team and filed complaint on 18th, they said they wil soon dispatch it. I waited for next whole day but in vain. On 20th feb i once again called jabong to enquire. They said it will be dispatched asap. On 21st feb morning i recieved a msg saying that my order is cancelled and refund is initiated. But i did not cancel the order. Jabong itself cancelled it. I called jabong team for the 3rd time and enquired but they are saying it is technical issues and the product is out of stock. But it is not showing out of stock on the site. It is still available for purchase. I urgently needed that particular product for usage on 23rd night. Now it is not possible for me to look for similar product on same or different site and order it once again as it would require another week to deliver it. Jabong has wasted my 10 precious days by showing such a level of negligency. Had they informed me in prior about the problem i could have cancelled the order on my own and ordered it elsewhere. By now i could have even recieved the product. I demand for an compensation from jabong in addition to the refund for causing me so much distress, inconvenience and for wasting my time.
