Jaiprakash Associates / Jaypee Group — Non repayment of FD on time | |||||
From : Sangeeta Sukheja Sir, I have invested Rs 30000/- by Chq. No. 258836 dt:20.06.2013 in Jaiprakash Associates on 26.06.2013 & my FDs got matured on 26.06.2016 and the maturity amount is Rs.43, 566/. Till date I have not received my money back. FD Nos. 00421252 Investor code : 1253329 Broker : Bajaj Capital Ltd. I have sent original receipts of my Fds to Jaypee Group for maturity payment . But till date I have not received my FDs maturity payment . I have sent many Emails & letters requesting to Jaypee Group for repayment but there is no response. We completely understand the concerns you are facing in this regard and wish to inform you that As per the company's Chairman, the cement deal, which was delayed due to regulatory approvals, is likely to be finalised by this month. There was an important Newspaper Article (Times of India dtd 18th April 2017 – Page No: 19) regarding the Fixed Deposit payments of the company, in which the company is assuring FD payments shortly.
The Company has also approached Hon’ble NCLT for extension of time for repayment of outstanding deposits. The interim order for the extension of time for making the payment of deposits to be continued till 30th May 2017. Next Hearing date is 30.05.2017.
