Jaquar — About a request for a replacement piece of a cracked toilet bowl | |
On April 27, 2021 I called Jaquar customer service to raise a request for a replacement of my cracked toilet bowl. This piece was installed by the builder, and we have a lifetime warranty on it. I was informed that a technician would not be able to visit my place in Mira Road as lockdown measures were in place. I was then given the number of Mr Nandkumar from Jaquar who was really helpful and provided me with the local dealer's contact Mr Jitesh Vora. The latter kept promising to deliver the piece and assuring me the piece would arrive the next week. The timeline kept getting extended, and now I am in the month of July, I am yet to receive it. I again got into a call with Nandkumar and Jitesh to find a solution, it was then that I was informed that as my toilet bowl model was more than five years old, it was difficult to source the same. Hence the delay. My question still remains why I was not not informed about this earlier? I insisted on a final date for this piece to be delivered, Nandkumar assured me I would get it before July 10. Again this did not happen. When I texted him I was told he piece would arrive at the dealer's place in five days. Again no confirmation on when I will get it. I want the company to honour the lifetime warranty they have provided, and to deliver this piece at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |
