Jaquar — Dealer selling duplicate products

Hi,

My Kitchen tap was leaking. After I contacted the local plumber, I got to know from him that the spindle of the tap has damaged and I need to replace it.

I thought of buying the spindle from local Jaquar dealer in Pune. The dealer name is Shree Krishna Traders in Kalewadi, Pune. I went to the shop and asked for the spindle. He gave me the spindle for INR 350 . When I asked for the receipt, he denied and said he cant give receipt for the spindle.

This happened on 1st July between 2 pm - 3 pm and should have been captured in the CCTV footage of the shop.

Later on, when I contacted Jaquar customer care, the Jaquar engineer came to my home to fix the leakage and informed that the spindle sold by Jaguar dealer to me is not of Jaquar . I was shocked at this. How can a Jaquar dealer sell spare parts like spindle saying they are of Jaquar company ?

When I went back to the shop on 8th July between 4pm - 5pm, the shop owner denied the refund for spindle . I told him that this is unethical to sell duplicate items under Jaquar name when he is running the Jaquar showroom . This is indirectly damaging the company reputation since dealer is the final interface of the company with customer.

Please look into this and arrange for my refund.
