Jaquar — terrible service | |||
We bought jaquar bathroom fittings including basin mixers, shower cabinets etc; 4 years back. Soon after installation, the electroplating (Chrome finish) started tarnishing. We tried rubbing and cleaning with cloth, but it showed no improvement. We were not aware then that their products came with a ten year warranty. We are now looking to buy bathroom fittings for another apartment, and visited the jaquar orientation centre in defence colony, new delhi to see their product range. I mentioned to the sales person about the tarnishing issue with our previous purchase. He informed me that jaquar will look into this, and advised to make a service call. I registered my service call under code 00618647, and got "satisfaction" code m249, on 25th june, 2019, giving all details including address and pin code. I got no response. When i called them to remind them that no one had called or visited, i was asked to register a fresh service request. I registered a fresh service request on 27th july, 2019 under 00744741, "satisfaction" code h347. Since then i've received two calls from different persons to ask the address (Which i have given when i registered my service request), but no commitment as to when the service representative will come. It seems to me that the company has outsourced this service to their dealers, and no dealer wants to take responsibility. Jaquar has a very good brand image, which is why i purchased their products, and other than this problem in a few fittings, their products are working very well and have no problems. I am really surprised that the system, the company has set up to monitor customer complaints is so poor (Shouldn't the concerned people people in jaquar know that i am a dissatisfied customer, who may never purchase their product again, and tell many others about the bad experience with jaquar?). No one has visited so far ! Got one phone call again, presumably from a dealer's service rep. to verify address, but no one has visited to attend to the complaint !
