We are Senior Citizens and 77 & 73 yr. old couple & when we reached the Lucknow Airport yesterday ie Nov 9th, 2013 morning to catch our Jet lite flight booked through your Portal several weeks back on Aug 12 from Gurgaon via makemytrip portal (Booking ID -NF[protected], we were told by Jet lite staff that the Flight has been cancelled. Our repeated questioning to them that "WHY DID NOT WE WERE INFORMED EVEN ONCE EARLIER BY THE AIRLINES OR YOUR PORTAL" was not answered at all. We told them that we have an evening flight from Delhi to Indore the same day and it is very important for us not to miss it We had to eventually buy another ticket of Spice at a much higher price so that we do not miss our evening 5 pm flight from Delhi to Indore via Indigo the same evening on 9th Nov, 13. THIS INCIDENT HAS CAUSED US TREMENDOUS HARDSHIP, FINANCIAL LOSS, PAIN & MENTAL AGONY AT SUCH AN OLD AGE. BEFORE WE TAKE THIS MATTER FURTHER WE WANT YOUR EXPLANATION FOR THIS IMMEDIATELY.
