Jio — My number has been allocated to someone else without any intimation

I have been using my jio number for many years now. I am currently staying with my son in australia. I had gone to visit him but am stuck there because of the current situation. I found out today that my number has been deactivated and alloted to some one else. I have been using this number for a long time now and this number is linked with my pan card, aadhar, bank statements etc. I am afraid that the new owner will have access to sensitive information like my account statement, otp's etc. Please can i get my old number back? Also please can you explain if there is a way to prevent old owner's sensitive information from flowing to the new owner?
