Jio — Useless service

I am a jio user for more than 8 years. I had a monthly plan of 209. I wanted to use 5g so brought the 5g data voucher for 601 rupees. It did not work. Contacted support and heard that 1.5gb/day plans can only work with this voucher. So went ahead and recharged for 666 plan which gives three months of 1.5gb/day plan. The voucher was not applied. Reached support and a lady from support 199 picked up the phone and spoke in Tamil. I explained my issue in Tamil. She said that she will move my call to Tamil department. I was confused. Without my approval she moved the call to the queue. Waited for 10 minutes and the call was automatically disconnected by Jio. Called again and someone who speaks in Kannada took the phone and spoke. I only understand English/Tamil and the toll free number did not mention anything about language spoken by support advisor. Got irate and disconnected the call. Called again. Someone from support took the phone and she was doing wfh was able to hear a lot of sounds and voices at one point of time was not able to understand anything so disconnected the call. Reached support again, someone picked the phone and told that only monthly plans will work with 5g data voucher. I asked her on why the first rep did this miscommunication and she said that she does not know and the charge cannot be refunded. Hence the call was done. Sent emails and responded to twitter tweets and dms but nothing worked. Mentioning it here so you people can be aware of jio support. It’s the worst they don’t have sympathy and will only shove their refund document all around without reading your email. I am sharing this here as trustpilot is a trusted source. Think twice before opting for jio services. Don’t go through this kind of issues. At last l opted for 3599 yearly plans as I only have coverage for jio in my area. For spending 3599 I spent 5075. Such a waste. I don’t think I will get a resolution or refund. All that they can show are their policies. How can I escalate this further? I don’t know. Last but not least their 601 voucher is such a scam and you pair it with the needed monthly plan you pay close to 5500 for the year which you can already get for 3599 plan. Such scammers. They want all the money in the world I guess.
