GRIEVANCE
1. We have purchased apples from JioMart as per the order details atal Bihari with.
2. Regretfully when we cut apple, we found them rotten inside.
3. The snapshot of rotten apple is also attached herewith.
4. We reported this matter and lodged our complaint to JioMart through email on 3rd January 2023 with all the details and also the snapshot of rotten apple but regretfully over a week had passed but no response from them. This is a very nasty and illegal habit of JioMart not to respond to any of emails ever.
5. We made a call to their customer care people and asked them for a return pick up to collect back all the rotten apples to refund back our money.
6. But they just kept us waiting but never sent their representative to initiate return pick up.
7. Such way of restricted trade practice evidentally amounts to negligence and deficiency on the part of JioMart punishable under THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 1986 and and also punishable under the FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS ACT, 2006
